20 Week Update Wow, how has it been a month since my last update! Still much the same as last time, although I only get tinnitus now about once a week, usually if my sleep has been crap or I've gone somewhere noisy. Normal days I don't get tinnitus anymore, or at least it's so quiet I...

You may be absolutely right, I've noticed some things as well that aren't in the official Neuromod brochure.

I don't believe Neuromod have said that, are you confusing it with hyperacusis? Neuromod told me that they did not see the same response from hyperacusis in TENT-A2.

It was 100% for compliance reasons. I asked a few times. It is far more important to maintain treatment each day than doing extra sessions. Trust me when I say that maintaining even 2x30 minutes per day is incredibly disruptive to life and work. For me at least, doing more per day actually...

My tinnitus is very reactive, especially to white noise. Lenire made my tinnitus louder for a week or so and from then onwards just for an hour or so after each treatment.

I don't consider myself to have had "slight improvement". I've had silence for almost all of the last 5 days, which to me is a major improvement. Granted, I'm not cured, but it was worth every penny.

@ChrisBoyMonkey I'm the worst patient! I try my best to sit and do nothing, but often end up reading on my phone. Neuromod have advised that I try my best to focus on the music as much as possible, even if that's only for part of the treatment. There is no data that suggests that doing...

I agree with you! From my perspective, as one of the few who can truly comment on the experience of Lenire. It seems clear to me that Lenire works for some, but not all (at least up to the 12 week mark). I speak to quite a few other Lenire users and we generally all have two things in common...

I have a residual fear of loud noises, although that's probably a healthy fear. I no longer have spikes or worry about noise, beyond what I now consider everyone should be wary. I will wear earplugs for very noisy environments but I would not need them for everyday noises like traffic or doing...

I have tinnitus that is reactive to white noise, so MML was hard for me as my tinnitus 'chases' the white noise. Around 10 dB in the booth under the NM testing environment. I'm not completely sure; a mixture of severe stress/depression, some sort of viral thing and a noise exposure. All these...

15 Week Update: My 2nd review meeting was last week. Caroline and I had a long and very positive discussion. I have been moved back on to PS1 from PS4, which is the same set of parameters I started out with, and had such positive results with. PS1 for the first 6 weeks greatly reduced the...

@dfl It's great that Lenire has helped you too, I know exactly how you feel about it giving you some of your concentration back and letting you get back on your feet. Something we haven't seen or had leaked/rumoured yet is a graph of 'time with tinnitus' plotted against 'THI reduction over treatment period'. That will be a very interesting graph... or not. Anyone understand Neuroplasticity enough to know if something like tinnitus can "set in" with time...

6 Week Update It's been a rocky road, but the trend over the six weeks has been downwards. My tinnitus is very low and often silent now. I'd say I hear it about 5% of my day. The volume has decreased dramatically and the buzziness has gone away. Do bear in mind that my baseline was mild to...

Nothing masks my tinnitus really, it will be louder than any noise, but gets quiet in a quiet space. The only thing that masks it, are high frequency beeps/chirps that I found on YouTube. Car drives, rain, waves etc (sounds like white noise) make it worse, not better. My very mild hearing loss...

You ask an interesting question, which potentially could affect treatment in my opinion. I do 2 X 30 mins sessions a day. The first at 12:00ish (I only ever vary the time by about 30 mins; no more) and the second at 21:00 (again, I try and not vary the time of treatment, as per Neuromod's...
