My dearest @Jazzer I am so sorry for the loss of your brother-in-law. Please give your Slyvie a warm hug of love from me. I remember reading how you drove her to the hospital many miles away.

Much love to you both and heartfelt thanks Slyvie donates to this site. She is a gem as you know!

Thank you for your continued faith in me Star, when others have declined.
You and I have been aware of each other for quite a few years now; we made a connection early on, and we will always be there for each other, I know that as I know anything.

Yes - my Sylvie is an angel - I adore her - just such a beautiful caring sweetheart. I am so unlucky to have got severe Tinnitus that destroyed my wonderful jazz career, but so lucky to share my life with this amazing lady Star.

I will be pleased to deliver your lovely warm hug.

Take care, and regards to the husband you have spoken about so beautifully,
Dave x

'Now listen 'ere you lot...
I bin studiously ignored by princes, academics, lords of the land, people of significance - so your indifference is no big deal to me.......

Would any folks who have enjoyed posts in 'Tinnitus Truths' - care to look at a new thread that I have started in:
'General Chat - Off Topic,'
called
"Love - in Words and Pictures."

Mostly on the romantic side, but some posts bordering on the very slightly 'cheeky.'

Please join in and add your own experiences, if you would care to.

One of my beautiful grandsons James - for some obscure family reason called 'Bobsie' - showed me some ginger shortbread that he had baked.
It was delicious.
I asked him if Nonnie (his grandma) had helped him.
"He said indignantly "No!"
"Well.....perhaps....a little bit."

@TuxedoCat - I promised you some pictures of the bluebell wood, and they all came out this week.
Kingswood is just two miles from our house.
The bottom picture is Sylvie - my life saver.

@Jazzer I often think that threads like this are more useful than taking time to address a newer member's specific conditions. Often they disappear or just don't respond back. I see this happen often to regulars where there was a great deal of thought and or research placed into their response. I guess it's sort of like eBay where it's said don't buy an expensive item from someone with no sales history.

Being able to offer informed medical advice is invaluable Greg, and I've noticed you helping members tirelessly.
You have made some suggestions regarding medication changes for me which have been very beneficial, and I am so grateful.

I have no such expertise to offer of course, but one other invaluable resource of Tinnitus Talk is that we can provide company, support, friendship to each other, and also share coping techniques such as deep relaxation and meditation etc...that have truly helped us.
The willingness of other members to 'be there for us' when we are hurting, is such a comforting thing.
