“Tinnitus Truths”

As somebody with lower moderate tinnitus, it calms me a lot to know that people with severe or even very severe tinnitus can still survive for at least a couple years (obviously it's a very compromised life...). And currently "a couple years" is about equivalent to the time required for at least some treatments to arrive on the market.
I currently have the feeling that there's more and more to read about upcoming treatments, so it feels as if we're getting closer to something tangible.

Hi @Jazzer, hello Dave.

I've been thinking of you everyday.
Everybody here loves you so much.
Just wanted you to know... had to be said.

Sincerely, as always, Daniel

Thank you Daniel.

I am devastated by the loss of my Sylvie.

On a purely selfish level - I do not want to live in a world with no Sylvie in it.
But! - She would not want me to fail.
My children, my grandchildren, my pussycats all love me.

Sylvie said to me:
"Dave you have so much love to give.
Look after each other - and spread the love."

It has only been a month.
I am still suffering so much.
But I have to find a way.
She has given us all a job to do.

I will find a way,
love
Dave

Hi @Jazzer,

I have been wondering how you are Dave knowing your tinnitus journey and life now without your beloved wife who was your rock, and your love for playing jazz.

You have given support to so many so reach out for support with your tinnitus family.

How are your lovely cats? They are great company and endless love from them.
I've not been around much but I will be here more I promise.
Welcome to pm me anytime and have a catch up.

Lots of love always,
Glynis xxx

Hi Glynis,

I'm having some bereavement counselling which is helping me.

I do intend to come back on here hopefully soon.

Thank you for your loving care.
