2020 US Presidential Election

As Luman say, it is refreshing to see that people have enough common sense to dislike Trump even more. After all he was the most divisive person that has ever run the US, and spent his term basically doing nothing for the country, and increasing his private wealth.
I said that it was refreshing to read that people of different backgrounds are coming together to protest Joe Biden.

Was your post in error, or are you now resorting to misquoting me? If it was in error, that's fine, but just let me know if it was not, so that I can put you on ignore.

@Juan, one last time: Was your misquote of me a mistake, or on purpose? If you do not answer, I am putting you on ignore, permanently.

I was quoting what @Wrfortiscue said, this is, that people dislike Trump even more. I think that's true.
Why did you bring my name into it, as I said nothing about this? Now, I'm not one for drama or personal attacks but I think that from now on, you will be on ignore.

FFS @Juan. You couldn't have just said it was mistake, and that you accidentally wrote @Luman instead of @Wrfortiscue?

Without you and @Luman arguing 24/7, this thread is as good as dead.

Unless you'd like to setup a fake @Luman account and start creating puppet posts you can argue with?

You can call it @Lunan, and all of a sudden he loves Biden and hates vaccines.

It is becoming increasingly clear that the Biden administration is failing with COVID-19 and many other issues. This article is from last week.

Poll: Americans Are More Pessimistic About Life Returning to Normal; Losing Trust in Biden

More Americans now have a drawn-out timeline for the return to normal life after the coronavirus pandemic, while trust in President Biden on COVID-19 continues to erode.

The number of Americans who believe it will take more than a year to return to normal life after the coronavirus pandemic has tripled since the summer, a new poll found.

About 30% of U.S. adults think it will take more than a year to return to normal life, which has more than tripled since it stood at 9% in June, prior to the delta variant surge, an Axios-Ipsos survey published Tuesday found. Additionally, nearly 25% think normal life will resume within the next six months to a year. Still, 22% say they have already returned to normal life, while 10% believe they never will.

Amid a more pessimistic outlook on the end of the pandemic, the poll also found that Americans are continuing to lose trust in President Joe Biden on the coronavirus. Now, 42% trust Biden at least a fair amount to provide them with accurate information on COVID-19, according to the survey, which has fallen 7% since last month, and 16% since Biden's inauguration.

Although trust in Biden among Democrats remains high, with 81% trusting Biden to provide accurate coronavirus information at least a fair amount, only one in three trust Biden "a great deal," down significantly from June levels.

The results come amid a continued vaccine mandate debate, as the Biden administration urges employers to require vaccinations for their workers. Last week, during a visit to Chicago, Biden touted the requirements, saying that "vaccination requirements work, and there's nothing new about them."

"So, today, I'm calling on more employers to act," Biden said. "My message is: Require your employees to get vaccinated. With vaccinations, we're going to beat this pandemic finally. Without them, we face endless months of chaos in our hospitals, damage to our economy, and anxiety in our schools, and empty restaurants, and much less commerce."

According to the survey, most Americans favor enabling vaccine requirements in various workplaces including companies with 100 or more employees, for federal workers and healthcare workers and even their own employer. But just 14% favor firing someone over a vaccine requirement, and among Republicans, just 4% believe the same.

"While we are collectively uncertain about what consequences, if any, to give people who break the rules on vaccines in the workplace, there is a sharp partisan divide on the issue that is brewing under the surface," the poll says

To me it is interesting as a psychological phenomenon that people are obsessed with criticising president Biden every day.

Some people prefer the clown that supported those who tried the attempted coup d'Etat at the Capitol. Afterwards the clown said "you are very special" (indeed!) referring to people like this:

Biden Administration Quietly Flies Illegal Immigrants to New York in Middle of Night: Report

The Biden administration has been quietly flying underage illegal immigrants from Texas to New York late at night for more than two months in an effort to resettle the tens of thousands of migrants taken into custody at the border in recent weeks, according to a new report.

A New York Post analysis of online flight-tracking data suggests that some 2,000 migrants have arrived at the Westchester County Airport in suburban New York on 21 flights since August 8. Many of the planes landed between midnight and 6:30 a.m., when a voluntary curfew is in effect.

The report describes late-night flights arriving under the cover of dark, filled with children and teens. New York Post reporters watched two planes land at the airport, where most of the passengers who deplaned seemed to be children and teens, with a small number appearing to be men in their 20s.

Many of the migrants were then seen meeting with relatives or sponsors in New Jersey or being dropped off at the Syosset, Long Island campus of MercyFirst, a nonprofit sponsored by the Catholic Sisters of Mercy. MercyFirst provides housing and services for "children and adolescents who are the victims of societal problems," according to its website, which adds that it has a contract to supply the federal government with residential services for "immigrant youth."

Someone familiar with the situation reportedly told the outlet that underage migrants usually arrive carrying backpacks and are bused to locations in the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, upstate Newburgh, and Bridgeport and Danbury in Connecticut.

The report adds that many of the flights from Texas first touch down in Jacksonville, Fla., before continuing to Westchester. On Saturday, reporters saw a Boeing 737-700 land shortly after 10 p.m. at Jacksonville International Airport. A group of ten to 15 people got onto a charter bus near a quiet cargo terminal and traveled two hours to Twin Oaks Academy, a juvenile detention center in the Apalachicola National Forest near Tallahassee.

A spokesperson for Florida Governor Ron DeSantis questioned why the Biden administration is resettling the migrants in "secrecy" if it is "so confident that their open border policy is good for our country."

"Why is the Biden Administration refusing to share even the most basic information about illegal alien resettlement in communities throughout our state and the entire country?" spokeswoman Christina Pushaw said.

Former Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino, a Republican candidate for governor, told the paper that smaller planes first began arriving in April. Early on, the flights were not "as frequent," he said.

He detailed a news conference he held at the airport in August during which he saw a flight arrive with at least 50 to 70 migrants, most of whom appeared to be men older than 20. The migrants boarded a bus that pulled up next to the airstairs, obscuring the view of people boarding it.

He accused the Biden administration of "systematically spreading the southern border crisis to communities all around the country, often shrouded in secrecy and under the cloak of darkness."

The White House said Monday that the flights only carry children and teens.

"It is our legal responsibility to safely care for unaccompanied children until they can be swiftly unified with a parent or a vetted sponsor," the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services said.

"Our Office of Refugee Resettlement facilitates travel for the children in its custody to their family or sponsors across the country," HHS spokesman Jorge Silva told the outlet. "In recent weeks, unaccompanied children passed through the Westchester airport en route to their final destination to be unified with their parents or vetted sponsor."

The report comes as Border Patrol agents encountered 37,805 unaccompanied minors at the border in July and August alone.

Really?

There weren't illegal immigrants during Trump's term?

I think, in the EU, FRONTEX does not require proof of vaccination to illegally cross the border haha.

Actually in Spain we get flights from places where there is very low % of people vaccinated.

Since January 1st, social security disability claim acceptance for tinnitus/hearing is now almost zero. Google the new requirements.

All this, as others and non disabled families get everything for free. Free money where they spend it on lottery tickets, slots, junk food, new cars, etc.

Trump didn't mandate the vaccine. However, Brandon is mandating that virtually everyone take the vaccine (through indirect ways such as job mandates) even foreigners travelling via flight, however people walking across the border get a pass.

It turns out that Powell (FED Chairman) had sold 5 millions USD worth of shares before the American market fell in October 2020.

The world is run by the most incompetent and corrupt central bankers in history.

Well, now that this thread has become a monoblog, I see no reason not to just post random, semi-relevant, political memes:

There are several people posting on this thread.

Many people who voted for Biden are now silent as they see how unqualified and wrongheaded he is, about virtually everything. He has been wrong about foreign policy for decades, according to very astute political people.

In 2010, Osama Bin Laden ordered his jihad assassins not to kill Biden because, he explained, if he (Biden) were to become president, he would lead the United States into a "Crisis". He is certainly living up to that analysis.

As part of the deal between Democrats, the reconciliation bill may include cuts like $400 billion to increase home-based care for the elderly and disabled. They still want to monitor all bank accounts for deposits and withdrawals of $600 or more. Pres also said that aspects of a child tax credit is still on the table.

Yep, they're taking away all the lifelines for the disabled and elderly - citizens who worked and paid into the social security system. Social security and social security disability payments are taxed, but public assistance is unearned income which isn't taxed. The average social security payment is half of public assistance - and 1/5 if free housing, free medical and other benefits are averaged in. Medical supplement plans reduce monthly social security payments and by a lot.

From Social Security legal: The bottom line is it will be very difficult to win SSDI or SSI benefits for tinnitus. Your only option if you do not meet a listing is to prove you cannot work due to the tinnitus. This will also be very difficult to do.

This is the way it's always been, but now tinnitus/hearing disability may also be difficult to get with balance disturbance.

I think the Federal government giving $300 per child per month - the child tax credit - is compassionate, but who's to know if a parent or a dead beat boyfriend is using the money for their own personnel use which may be for drugs, alcohol, an ocean cruise, lottery tickets or trips to the casino. There's no federal monitoring system for this, as this would be impossible to do.

I think college student loan forgiveness up to $50,000 is unfair to those who paid off their loans and for those who decided not to go to college for loan payment reasons. Why should someone who decided not to go to college for loan payment reasons, now have their tax payments pay for those who did or do.

Now I'm lost... who is "Brandon"? The guy from Beverly Hills 90210? :wideyed:

Anyway, I am very surprised that Americans can be so complacent about their central bankers (FED members and Powell) purchasing or selling stocks at the same time they decide on interest rates that affect crucially to the stock market.

Biden has done the right thing taking the troops out of Afghanistan.

The clown was all about boasting and speeches but he did absolutely nothing during his term. When a president does NOTHING, nothing can go wrong, and there is never criticism.

Actually, I would like to know why Trump does not want the Capitol assault investigated and all the information published.

Biden approval slips again, Congress fares even worse: Poll
Haisten Willis
Tue, October 19, 2021 Yahoo News

A new Quinnipiac University poll shows Joe Biden's approval numbers continuing to slip through his first year in office, stuck in the upper 30s.

Respondents gave Biden a negative 37% job approval rating, with 52% disapproving and 12% not offering an opinion. That's down a single percentage point from his 38% to 53% approval rating on Oct. 6.

Additionally, 38% said they hold an overall "favorable opinion" of Biden, down significantly from May, when he was still fresh in office, with 49% rating him favorably.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Oct. 19, 2021:

Biden is not doing any better than Trump, according to the latest Quinnipiac University Poll:

"When asked about their opinion of Joe Biden, 38 percent of Americans say they have a favorable opinion of him, while 50 percent say they have an unfavorable opinion. In May, 49 percent had a favorable opinion, while 42 percent had an unfavorable opinion of him.

When asked about their opinion of Donald Trump, 39 percent of Americans say they have a favorable opinion of him, while 52 percent have an unfavorable opinion. In May, 37 percent had a favorable opinion, while 57 percent had an unfavorable opinion."
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Trump could very well be back, in 2024. Support for Trump is rising as Biden and the Democrats are losing support more and more while he and his VP continue their lack of leadership and cater to those who hate America.

I would like to know if there is an "approval rating" for Jay Powell after it became public that he had traded stocks worth 5 million USD with his private money at the same time he decided on interest rates.
