I do wonder why America doesn't have a realistic third party option. Might prevent US politics from being quite so divisive between Republican and Democrat...

I'm just trying to make this thread less one sided is all. You have to admit Trump's videos are humorous.
I would say Joe Biden is a bit creepy in terms of personal space (or at least doesn't have a great sense of boundaries) but no where in the same universe as the guy who admitted he'd bang Ivanka if she weren't his daughter and said the number one thing that he had in common with her was "sex".
Not to mention commenting on Tiffany Trump's legs when she a was a baby and saying it's too early to see of she will get Marla Maple's rack too. All on video if anyone doubts these things.

Because DNA would clear his name and the case would be dismissed.
It doesn't really matter though as the deadline was last Friday and another relative can now submit DNA as a relative did in the Golden State Killer Case (e.g. Mary Trump is my guess in this case).

Biomedicine has far more regulations then technology. If technology was regulated like biomedicine then smart phones and modern internet wouldn't exist. Just admit the left is the party of heavy government regulations on the private sector and that almost certainly relates to why medicine advances so slow. You can do whatever you want to a computer chip, the same is not true for doing research on death row inmates or non human primates.

Okay so you mean approval and not research then. Public funding actually helps research but the FDA, while needing to exist does need an efficiency overall.
Maybe this isn't common knowledge but biotech companies don't start from scratch with research, they build on existing research from universities (etc) and take over at the pre-clinical stage.

I agree with the libertarians on this one, we don't need all these phases to approve drugs. There should just be phase one for safety and then release it to the public. It'd make drugs dramatically cheaper and quicker to get to market.
