Chit Chat and All That...

So last night Rob and I went to watch a show called 'Manhood' at Norwich Theatre.

It was an hours rant by the actor Tom Rosenthal, from 'Plebs' and 'Friday Night Dinner', about how he feels robbed of his foreskin because he was circumcised as a baby.

It was essentially an hour of dick jokes - It was flipping brilliant!

And yes, I was all earplugged and earmuffs at the ready. It was a small, intimate theatre, and not noisy at all. I was apprehensive but the ear plugs I have are so good.

This makes my post look like a bag of shit  For some reason I thought you were going to query certain places, but when I reread what you put it was clear you wanted straight-up recommendations.

I'd add the West End to that list if it's back up and running, but take your earplugs if you do. Damocles list is all the places I was thinking of. You can add predictable things like Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, Denmark street if you're into music (although I've heard it ain't what it used to be anymore).

If you can make time to get down to the south coast I'd recommend it. There's loads of beautiful places down there.

The garden looks a bit like the Canary Islands.

Ah yes! I went to Dorset when I was 17... gosh! That seems like only yesterday. We went to Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door. It was ) hi C. I recently went to Exmoor. Have you ever been? That was incredible! Again, like Dorset, it has its own mi
Yea, we went to Lulworth Cove and wanted to go to Durdle Door, but it can't be done with a pushchair. My missus was gutted because she's a geologist/geographer (she found the Ammonite). I don't think I've been to Exmoor, but if it's anything like where we went then it will definitely be good.
Broadchurch was shot somewhere here, right? Gorgeous scenery.
Yea, Broadchurch was shot in West Bay. The cliff face you see in my photos is the backdrop to that show.

My tinnitus is going a bit crazy for no reason... this morning it passed unnoticed. Now it's ringing like crazy...

Tinnitus is like that... temperamental. There is no point in trying to understand it.

I totally get you.

2 bad nights in a row, loud, unmaskable "eeeeee" again, dizziness, ears feel clogged, sharp, electric high frequency bursts.

And here I am, thinking again about what caused it.

Maybe it's the weather, maybe it's the salty food. Maybe it's the traffic noise, maybe it's hormonal. Maybe she's born with it, maybe it's Maybelline!

:arghh: :arghh: :arghh: :arghh: :arghh:

Probably Maybelline... :/

BTW SOME people around here get extremely jealous, angry and emotional when people have days that are better...

Hey I get you aura. I deal with similar tinnitus. My left ear tone will either be a faint squeak or a pulsating bzzz bzzz bzzz to my heartbeat that shocks my head. Right ear sounds like a jet engine whine that's loud or sometimes I don't notice it.

Sucks ass eh.

The music in his car was so loud that I was feeling the vibrations in my seat.

And yet, I'm the one with tinnitus and hyperacusis!
Reminds me of the kids driving around in their tractor converted Volvo 740s (that can legally be driven with a moped license in Sweden) with windows filled with dank stickers and and fragrant Little Trees, having the bass speakers booming out some insane soundwaves.

Yet, no severely reactive tinnitus, lol. :dunno:

Mine too. It's really loud and it won't let me sleep tonight.

It can't be Maybelline. That would not be good for sales!

Does your tinnitus hamper your hearing ability or your ability to understand speech in noise?

Keep talking like you're talking, and @aura isn't going to be able to sleep tonight either.

...but not because of her tinnitus. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
...but because of laughing my ass off!

So there's @Nathaniel Teposo trying to charm miss @Steph1710 who's too busy measuring that Stone Age cornflakes thing and ends up charming @Wrfortiscue instead! Talking about a plot twist... :)

Just wait until @Exit sees this!

@Nathaniel Teposo, you don't know what you're getting into!
If you want my advice, just run and never look back! :)
