Chit Chat and All That...

What is going on in all of your heads? We all still a slave to the tinnitus?

Well every morning I've been going out in my back garden and my little flower patches have been messed up, mud everywhere etc. I thought it was my neighbours fat cat but... I saw the biggest hedgehog I have ever seen in my life (see below picture) last night. The big f@#ker is the one abusing my flowers and mud! Anyway, I don't want to harm the t@#t but he's wreaking havoc in my garden.

This is what he roughly looks like anyway... he scared the life outa me. I'm also sure he was holding some sort of sharp objects in both hands...

On the plus side guys, it's the 1st of December so I got to open my advent calendar.

I've had tinnitus for a while now. Does anybody else still have this "brain fog" where you can't concentrate for long periods and feel like your are walking around in a daze most of the time? I'm just curious.

I love his red shoes, @jcb. Be careful the next time you venture out into your garden, he is a big guy!

So nice to hear from you. :huganimation: No brain fog for me, however, I am still dealing with a spike from my third booster last January.

That ain't no hedgehog you've got on your hands there, @Jcb.

That's a fully-cetified  werehog!!!

What you need is a silver bullet, or a silver Robotnik.
I love his red shoes
Agreed @emmalee, they wear nice shoes.

But if you want a pair, you're going to have to sign the petition.

That's funny. We have a similar problem. Garden crops screwed up (particularly lettuce, which was butchered). Ended up that it's slugs doing the damage. Locals said, you've got to encourage hedgehogs - they love a juicy slug.

Send that big f*u%er of yours over here.

Oh if it isn't my favourite Canadian! So nice to hear from you Emma :huganimation: so sorry to hear about your spike, I've heard a few people having issues with the COVID-19 vaccination. Has it calmed any since you had it?

Emma he was huge, I'll have to try and take a pic of him or her. Ha, it looked like they worked out a lot :bag:

Mate, he's a beast! Haha, think I'd need more than silver Robotnik... He's useless. Also I have my suspicions that the hedgehog may well be a werehog or at the very least taking major hedgehog steroids.

Listen, if you want to take the chance of fronting this beast from hedgehog hell then go for it... I would advise wearing some super resilient armour of sorts...

Thank you, it has been the same since it all began, it was just a matter of adjusting all over again. No more boosters/vaccinations since then, I just cannot take the chance. A very personal decision, of course. ;)

If you do get close enough for a photo, perhaps try to tackle him (you can do it) and get those red shoes for me.

Wish I could say something to help you Emma, all I can say is keep that fighting spirit you have and hopefully (wishing) the spike calms down. I know this demon noise can wear the strongest down but I'm hoping the spike just bogs off back to the depths of tinnitus hell it came from.

I don't blame you for opting out of the next vaccination.

I will try and get a close up picture of his muscles and red shoes, as long as I don't see anymore of the little sh#ts haha or I will think I'm back to my childhood playing Sonic the Hedgehog o_O

So this morning at 5 am I got a phone call from my brother in Oregon telling us his daughter was found dead in her apartment.
My deepest condolences, Elmer.

It's a brutal existence with no better alternative.

Your stories and posts here make things a little easier for everyone though, I'm sure (certainly me).

Love to your family.

@Guywithapug, when I see someone sees I am now following them when they think I've been following them and I know they haven't been following me, this whole time.

That is odd, I could have sworn I followed you before, but then again, I may have followed my own advice to let you initiate the follow first. Following this ordeal, I shall be diligent to follow those who deserve to be followed, you follow?

Me, being happy that Damocles is following me again, then realising that I'm not that special after all because he decided to follow Guywithapug too, who was sure that Damocles was actually following him all this time.

Which makes me wonder... did Damocles actually follow me all this time or was his breathing down my neck just wishful thinking?! o_O

I will follow you as long as you provide snacks and whisky and good old rock n' roll, but not necessarily in that order.

Just a bit of humour as it's needed.
Deal.

...and re our missuses and copious amounts of whiskey, we've always got the getout clause - "it calms the fusiform cells in my dorsal cochlear nucleus, dear", cough cough, ahem, pass me another snack...

Okay @aura.

But you gotta be happy about the Auricle results, at least, right?

Now whenever you scream confusedly, and you spike, you can bring it down by 30-70% (relative to how much you increased the tinnitus by last time you screamed confusedly about something).

Ahhh... it will feel sooo good being able to do this again :)
