Chit Chat and All That...

@emmalee those were hilarious   that first lab I lost it  who could hate them big dumb dogs eh??

That girl on the phone in those brown boots :ROFL: why do that to yourself... why  me thinks she shouldn't be wearing those boots imagine trying to have a conversation with her while she going all bow legged then just drops to the floor I love it haha

Thanks for them mate

Hello, Ed! It is SO nice to see you here. :huganimation:

Thanks but I was just dropping by. You're possibly one of the outright friendliest people on here. I hope you start to feel better in time and I believe you will. :huganimation:

Don't let tinnitus drag you down.

I'll leave you with this quote and a pic:

Nothing is impossible, the word itself says, "I'm possible!"

Im glad, it's always great to bring back memories, I hope they were nice ones Star haha

I loved keeping up with appearances, never actually watched it until my 20s but I had many laughs at that show. Same for Absolutely Fabulous had many laughs at that as well
Same here jcb, but I have watched the series so many times over the years, I just loved it. I also loved Absolutely fabulous, in fact I love most British comedies, I grew up watching them.

You are welcome, Star. :welcomesignanimation:

Staying as active as possible is what I try to do, too. Walking each day is great, I do the same, it really helps me to get a decent nights sleep.

I hope you are having better days. :huganimation:
I am hanging in there emmalee, I have tightened my life jacket, I am back in a wave as the saying goes, but I was expecting that to happen at some stage. Everyone around me is sick at the moment, our weather has been so inconsistent, hot one day freezing the next, so colds and flu seem to be circulating around again, just hope they bypass me!!!

I still have been trying to follow a normal routine, I have lots planned over the next few weeks so I just hope I can continue to soldier on through.

Glad you had a laugh, or maybe two, Jcb. We all need some laugh therapy, I know I do. (y)

I have read all about waves, Star. Hang on tight, you have got this my friend. :huganimation:

The flu bug and colds are my biggest fear, especially since getting tinnitus. I hope you are able to dodge it all.

Thank-you for saying this, Ed. I am flattered, to say the least. :huganimation:

I will continue to 'fight the good fight', as a much admired member once said to me. Some of the members I met, when I first found TT, have disappeared. I only hope they are all doing much better. ❤️

I do hope you stay around for a bit, Ed, or even continue to drop by now and then. ;)

Thank-you for the quote, the image speaks volumes.

Yea, many people have moved onto the promised land where their tinnitus is no longer the problem it once was. On some level, I believe we will all get there eventually, we just don't know what number our ticket in the line is.

Yeah I've watched it a good few times now, loved the Vicar of Dibley as well and of course of only fools and horses.

Heels are also no good to wear when you are walking across tram tracks, years ago I did this and got my heel stuck in the track.

Lucky the tram was running late that day :D

Oh no haha good job the tram was late (there's a shocker public transport being late haha) hope the shoes were not damaged.

I was going to a concert a good few years ago and there were these 3 girls in front chatting away, all in ridiculously tall heels and struggling on this cobbled walk way and we were saying they are gunna go down any time soon and betting how many would go  Two went down one after the other and I felt terrible but couldn't stop laughing, luckily enough they all started to laugh and were struggling to get back  of course we helped them up while laughing haha

I have got to start watching these British comedies that you are all talking about.:)

Definitely, I know sometimes British humour can get lost in er translation haha but Ab Fab and The Vicar of Dibley are easy watches as is keeping up with appearances.

love these mate, what was your birds name? Love the colour of it as well. Do you know what breed the second bird Is?

LOL at the cameltoe ones
My bird had an unusual name "choekcha". Yeah, I picked that one for its color :)
Had to give it away due to H, unfortunately :(
The second breed is called a kakapo (translation: night parrot), indigenous to New Zealand. It is the only flightless parrot on earth, actually.

The video speaks for itself, hahaha

What does that mean? I though it may have been some type of parrot due to its face, nice I never knew that love learning something new.

sorry about you giving up your lil bird, hopefully if your H gets a bit better maybe get another.

Mate that video

For me, only fools and horses is number 1. Genius show.

Yeah love that show, laughed many many times at that. I was going to say watch Little Britain but I know that's a crude show and won't be for everybody haha

I've seen them all a million times but I still watch it when it's on.

Agreed, always a good sign of a well written show when you can watch them again and again, I wish faulty towers had made a few more seasons loved that show as well.

Fawlty Towers is class mate.

I never really watched tv growing up, was more into films it was only in my 20s I started watching all these shows and was surprised at all the brilliant shows I has missed.

I saw birds, so I posted more birds. The blue bird (first picture) used to be mine.

Oh my, such a sweet little pet, Labyrinthine. The color is quite beautiful and I love the name you chose. I only wish the little fellow was still with you.

Lol, it is a name my mother came up with. The bird reminded her of the Chukchi people (inhabitants of the Chukchi penisula in Russia). Doesn't really make sense, but a great name for a birb.

It is indeed, I like the name a lot.

Nice, thanks that's two things I've learned today haha the breed of the parrot and what Chukchi means, much appreciated. I'm hoping you'll be good enough one day to maybe get another bird or pet.
