Chit Chat and All That...

@Jazzer

They're tablets, Dave. I am going to take your advice and halve them. When I was prescribed Zopiclone by my doctor I cut a 3mg tablet in quarters and that worked fine. I have never been one to take medications, so when I do, only the smallest amount works.

Hum @Jcb do you need a prescription for Melatonin?
Personally, I tried it (different forms) and I thought my head would explode. We can buy it here at a store.
Sorry that happened to you....

Melatonin gave me the worst nightmares I've ever had. Scary....:eek::cry::mad:

OUT - thank you so much for telling us all this.
Thanks also to @Starthrower.
We all need to know and heed such warnings.
Obviously I would not wish to harm one hair of anyone's head, let alone my dear mate Jcb.

It seemed to work well for me with no noticeable side effects, but now I will be more wary myself.

A very good job we can pool our experiences!
Once again - thank goodness for Tinnitus Talk!

I have no medical knowledge at all, and have now read some conflicting views.

Please forgive me for assuming that my experience would also be yours.
Take care everybody

How is everybody today??

Here in the UK the weather has been wet, grey and just miserable.

Also left one the skylights open last night and woke up to a mini pool in the kitchen :cautious: no damage it was just wet :rolleyes:

You now what Emma, many people say that about me :ROFL::ROFL::LOL::LOL:
I am not at all surprised, Jcb. ;)

I am doing good, actually slept well last night. We have had a cool, dull and rainy Spring here in Ontario. Lake Ontario is at its highest level, ever. The flooding has been extreme, also. It is almost the first day of summer, where is the warmth and sunshine?

Puddles in the kitchen, oh no, not a good start to your day Jcb.

I actually love sky lights.

@emmalee

Of course when you read an information slip inside any packet of medication there is a list of nasty side effects.

Life is scary babe - but I would hate to advise anybody wrong.

Hey Jazz,

No need to apologize. ;)

Yes, we are all different people and react different to medications/supplements. That's why I always say that one must make a decision to try something or not, and live with it. Not say stuff like:: " Oh it is bad and stay away from that blah, blah, blah...."

I also tried Valerian root which also gave me horrible nightmares....really vivid dreams. Not fun folks. Won't try them again for sure...lol.

I know it works for other people without any problems.

Same here once,
Valerian made me feel lousy,
and didn't even work.

@Jazzer my soul mate friend...no worries I should have also stated that almost everyone I know is helped by that.

It is worth trying for most people.

@Starthrower
We are so concerned about helping each other but we still need to be cautious.
Thank you for always standing by me Star.
We share a lovely recognition of each other's warmth,

Ugg..it is so gloomy here on the coast. I don't like it at all. The sun has not been out for about a week now. It makes me lazy. I am watching the dust collect on the dining room table....instead of getting the dust cloth out...

At least I get to the gym everyday.

Where is the complaint department????:eek:

I'd like to know where the complaint department is, too. Raining again today, not to mention the wind gusts.

Same here it's been so wet and muh. The sun pops out for like 5 minutes then it's just starts raining again. That's not good, are you by the Lake?

Yeah skylights are lovely, they let lot of light in as well.

The sun has been out for more than 20 minutes, should I chance it and take the dog for a walk or will I get absolutely drenched yet again???? So many questions and possible outcomes.

We are pretty close to Lake Ontario, Jcb. It's about a 15 minute drive at the very most. Still cloudy on this Father's Day Sunday, all of the golf courses are suffering for sure, they are saturated.
