Feeling So Very Sad and Hopeless

Hi Eve,
I'm struggling, too.
Anxiety has increased over making a decision to move.
Pretty intense.
Worried about increased noise of new place.
Sorry to hear your depression and bad sleep returned.
Yes, hope we feel better soon.

I'm fed up with feeling so rubbish. Just back from cranial osteopath who is manipulating my neck after RTC.
Could you move to somewhere less noisy? I shall have to move quite soon, I'm still in the family house.
Make the right decision for you and Miss Riley xx

@Jcb

I could not agree with you more! She is a German Shepherd, Jcb.

She will brighten up your day, nothing better than going for a nice long walk a little four legged companion. They never judge you, always happy to see you as well :)

@Nanny chocolate ,
Sorry to hear your going through a down time.
Try get out a bit when you can in the fresh air.
I hope your neck treatment is helping...
Love glynis

I'd love to have another dog, totally agree with you.
I just couldn't manage the responsibility now. They deserve proper walks etc,
Eve
@Jcb

Yes they can be quite a handful and need good exercise. Would you get a cat? I'm sorry you are feeling down, try and get some fresh air and hope your neck is feeling better.

I would love to get a cat. I went to the local rehoming centre and went to sit with a cat. Unfortunately, it suddenly hissed and bit me HARD. I had to be put in the accident book!!! It's not going too well just lately!!! I'll try again at some point.
For goodness sake! or something like that!

My grandmother had two cats, one was lovely the other was like a demon possessed haha try and go back again and im sure there will be a lovely cat there that will need you just as much as you want them.

Hi Glynis
Not long to the wedding for you. If only I could just have a head transplant!
I'm tired but Sunday was my grandson's birthday. Ten! where did the years go. The afternoon was spent by the beach and the little ones went swimming. The two three year olds were funny to watch, the boys had friends with them.
Hope your fishing went well.

Eve,
Yes, I understand about feeling fed up with feeling badly. I'm not sure about moving somewhere less noisy. Perhaps. I was able to extend my time a little before I have to move. Do you know where you will be moving?

Don't give up!! You will find the right kitty for you.

I did rehome one 2 day's after my mum died, silly me. She was sweet but jumped on top of high kitchen units and there was a small hole! She disappeared down the back and I had to get a workman to dismantle and get her out.
I couldn't cope with that and my mum only just gone so she went back.
I'll try again at some point probably.
I'll move when the time is right, still trying to be able to cope with myself.
If you don't HAVE to move right now then maybe don't.
We don't make our best decisions when we are depressed and have all sorts of symptoms.
I'm still married although we don't live together and it's fairly civil.

I'm sorry you couldn't keep your mum's kitty, though I understand.
When you are ready you can try again and find the right one for you. I went to a few shelters before I found Riley.
Yes, we don't make the best decisions when we are depressed or struggling with anxiety.
I have delayed my move for a bit, but probably will have to do it eventually.
I am glad you have time to wait and move when you are ready.

I am doing good today Mystery Reader. So very nice of you to ask.:huganimation:I am sending positive thoughts to everyone and hoping we all get a good nights sleep.:rolleyes:

How about you, Mystery Reader? You doing well?

Yes, thanks. I find myself thinking of you folks during the day, so thought I'd "check in." And yes -- a good night's sleep for all!

@Mystery Reader

Doing ok over here. Things have been calm on the t front but my anxiety is high. I've been working on getting a small vegetable garden started. You know how they say things take longer than you think. I think I set a new record.

@emmalee

That's going to be a BIG dog! I have a Great Pyr who's around 95 lbs and boy is he a handful. Nice choice! I like the mellow ones.

@New Guy,
Wonderful to know that things have calmed a bit for you! I get what you mean about the anxiety, though. One day at a time, right? Good luck with your garden, and I hope that all the t news we get from you has to do with improvements.
