How and Why Did You Choose Your Username?

I'm a corporate drone working for a large bank.

I mainly work on marketing strategies and write content and ad creatives.

One of my favourite shows is Mad Men, so instead of Don Draper, I thought Drone Draper would be a fun name.

I participate on a few forums. Anonymity is less important on some than others. On some other forums I have shared links to threads with friends or family. After reading this forum for a while before joining I kind of doubted I would ever share a post from here because of the seriously deep depression some on here have. Suicide....never on my radar, and I wouldn't want anyone to ever think it possibly could be.

Therefore I chose Tex. Texas is a very large state. If I ever do decide to share a link I'll just tell anyone I share the link with that I'm not a member of this forum. I could never be that depressed. It would scare the Hell out of my family.

Yes, she did! Was perfect chick flick...lol... @Jcb would agree if he was here. :(. I miss him.

I never watched Lost! Am I missing something??

I actually enjoyed once upon a time, I haven't watched the last 3 seasons though. Regina was gorgeous btw I agree. I loved Lost but the last few seasons kind of spoiled it for me on a whole, a bit like GoT.

He's well...we keep in touch. But I miss his silliness here....:(

Who you calling silly

Mine is the name of a Japanese dollar shop (not exactly a dollar for everything though) where we love to shop at.

Looks like people are having fun with this thread. Makes me wonder, wouldn't it be fun when one day we are all cured and have a big get together and poke fun at each other about how silly we had been with this nonsense?

Well.
I'm lesbian and my hair is very curly and fluffy and a friend of mine once said that I was the rainbow sheep of my family. And it has just stuck with me ever since so whenever I have to choose a username and don't want it to contain my real name rainbow sheep is the first thing that comes to my mind

Cute! I like it. :)

Been playing and listening to punk bands for years like Black Flag, Descendants, Dead Kennedys, Nomeansno.... the list goes on. Punk is pretty much all I live for right now

My username represents the path in life I have traveled. Seems I can never get where I want to go in a straightforward way...always end up going a Country Mile. The avatar reflects that as well but it also happens to be my favorite kind of road to ride my bike on.

My user name is because I like stars, and I was born in 1964, however, I have the avatar of a roller coaster, as I feel like I have been on one lately, and I just want off.....can't take the credit for the picture though, it was thanks to new member @CountryMile ......so....:thankyousign:

I use elmerbfuddled for 2 reasons. First I'm always befuddled with this damn T some days it's quiet then it comes back full throttle which has me Fuddled.
Second is from a hunting trip when one of our lads didn't turn up at the given time. Not hearing any shooting we presumed he may be lost. The poor guy when we found him he was cutting an apple so he'd have food the next day. Now here he was 100 yards from the main trail which would have led him back to camp, 250 yards from the road we were parked on looking for him. So we nicked him elmerbfuddled.

I've always been a bit of a crybaby, but now I'm trying to stop being down about myself all the time, especially in the face of tinnitus. I'll always have a crybaby heart, but the idea is that I'm getting it together, being more positive, I'm MR Crybaby these days thank you very much!
