I Invented a Sound That Knocked Out My Tinnitus

@beach house

Quote from R. David Case:
I was tortured severely with Tinnitus for three years and I said to my self I am an engineer so why cant I make something similar to the tinnitus sounds to affect it or stop it. So I took two 555 oscillator chips and wired them in a way that has NEVER been done before, they fought each other for power and each out put was superimposed on the others power supply, It made the weirdest sounds. I recorded them and put it on koss ktx-pro1 headphones . It knocked out my tinnitus, I began to give the sound mix out and now I am up to 420 people reduced or eliminated their tinnitus.I am just trying to help others stop the torture.

If Tinnitus Mix works for someone, they essentially have to use it forever, right?
No, you don't have to use it forever, some need to play it once or twice a week as maintenance.

After a few false starts, I'm committed to this. Last night was the second night that I was able to sleep while listening to it with the headphones on. I liked it and found it relaxing (mostly). Maybe the .wav version is better or I'm getting used to it. So far my tinnitus is still there but bothers me less somehow. I feel more focused and at peace.

About me - My tinnitus has been somatic (in that it varies in pitch with facial, jaw or tongue movements), is intrusive, high pitched, constant but changing, 24/7 for the past 4+ months. I often distract myself from it/forget about it for periods of time during the day. Cause is unknown, factoring in being over 60, stressed, not protecting my ears well enough, having allergies and sinus problems. My sleep cycle has been way screwed up since I first got tinnitus last July. For the first 3 months I'd dread night time. The worst was to wake up to my high pitched "head" tinnitus from sleep in bed at night. I would freak out, get up, pace around, go outside, pray, try to distract myself. I felt scared and depressed at night. So to compensate I started sleeping in front of the tv in the evening, drifting in and out of sleep while watching Turner Classic Movies, Perry Mason reruns, spiritual or religious programs, easy paced stuff. Sometimes I take Benadryl, have dark chocolate or a drink to help relax. I often get to bed after midnight where I have a varying amount of regular sleep. A few nights have been sleepless. I'm glad that my husband has been sympathetic. He has no hearing at all in one ear and has a milder version of tinnitus. I try to get daily exercise, eat well and stay open to healing.

Tinnitus Talk has been a godsend!

I hope that I can sleep in bed for longer stretches while wearing headphones listening to Tinnitus Mix. Also to take time to listen for awhile during the day. That's my goal for now.
That's Great!! Keep going and don't skip a night for 3 weeks!!

I agree. I wish I would have tried this sooner. Still though, I think your explanation regarding SIGINT is incorrect for 99.9999% of us. I'd be honored if you would check MPP and read my explanation for how I think your sound works and let me know what you think. I'm definitely going to get my hearing tested after I get as much out of this as I think I can.
Yes your explanation does make sense.

I listened for a few hours with my son's Xbox headset... and no difference for me. I'll have better headphones coming in the mail in the next two days.

I actually don't find the sound objectionable, and started memorizing the sound pattern after about the 4th run through

How loud/soft is "low volume?" Like low enough you can listen to tv program on speakers through the .wav sound? Or hold a conversation?

Thanks.

I'm not much of a conspiracy theorist but at some point you have to ask yourself who would be most negatively impacted by the success of David's free treatment?
I'm a super "conspiracy theorist" but I still don't think Case is right about tinnitus being from SIGINT. I do think he is a genius nonetheless.

Case and I both are alternative thinkers. My running theory is that he has inadvertently created the absolute best sound therapy for tinnitus with his dueling/waltzing 555 timers.

@R. David Case's audio file is amazing. Even more amazing is his recommendation to use it while sleeping. I think that is the absolute key.

Yes on low at first for a few days for sure, do not mask your tinnitus, play it lower than your tinnitus at a comfortable level.

You need to go into REM sleep with this more than likely.

I was thinking more along the lines of shills from a specific tinnitus treatment company using false accounts to discourage use of this free therapy over the past year.

I said the body does not know what to do with most drugs and sends them to the liver and when it stores enough of them it causes liver damage, this can lead to hepatitis. More than that we have many in the test group who were diagnosed with toxicological tinnitus by prescribed drugs. We have helped 2 reduce their tinnitus with Tinnitus Mix.

I read through as much of this thread as I could and am curious. Curious enough to give it a shot.

Have you seen anyone with antibiotic ototoxicity improve on this regimen? I have ototoxicity from high dose and prolonged Azithromycin. Any reason not to try this? I'm especially intrigued by reports of hearing improvement.

OKAY WEIRD!!!!!
Now I am sitting in my office. My normal tinnitus is gone and has turned into an extremely low volume hum at around 660 Hz mostly in my right ear. This has never happened before. FYI 660 Hz is a very low frequency. I can also just barely hear it. This is actually quite amusing. Coincidences happen but funny this is happening now of all times.
How can you tell the frequency? With a pure tone (that I used to have) determining the frequency was very easy. However, when I transitioned in to hum, hiss, or bells determining the frequency is much more difficult.

I just did another night of it. I actually got about 6 hours worth of straight use. My office is a quiet place so I will report back when I get there to say if anything changed.

Yes we have had Tinnitus Mix work on people who got tinnitus from ototoxic drugs.

Thanks for apologizing John, I knew one day people would believe me and stop calling me names for trying to help people in this group, one down, 500,000 to go... lol

I've pretty much always been able to match the frequencies of my tinnitus.

Well I did not come here to debate conspiracies, just help people stop the torture of tinnitus. When people ask about the known technical capability to externally influence our bio-systems I will respond.

Thanks for the kind words about my invention, it's been a long journey, almost 60 pages... lol.

Would listening to something like techno at low volume be similar? Or is it something specific about this hellish track? I dabbled in music production few years back so I do have high fidelity headphones. I usually have techno playing on my studio monitors at low volume throughout the night, which helps me way more than any white noise / nature sounds. If anyone's interested, try the "awakenings" channel on YouTube. Some great music.

Anyway, going to give this a try for a full night starting tonight. Had tinnitus for 10+ years. I'm guessing it was due to loud noise / concerts. The intensity varies daily. Tinnitus is always loudest when I wake up from a nap. I don't know why that is. It'll reduce in volume a few minutes after I get up from bed.
No this is not techno music, it is like nothing out there. I believe it has to do with how our neurons communicate. They communicate in codes or pulses and Tinnitus Mix has codes embedded in it that awaken neurons and possibly other processes in the ear/ brain connection like this article about new communications found between neurons.

I Only ever had very very light visual snow that I could oddly only see looking in the deep dark green of evergreen trees. I got the nasty floaters. I don't remember noticing them really today, or yesterday. My floaters have consistently fluctuated with my tinnitus.
I thought floaters were from too much yeast in the body?

Yes I agree, we are getting lots of medical people joining the test group, it's just a matter of time before they get people to post on there that their ears fell off after using my therapy, then nobody will try it again. Sabotage is the oldest game in the book!!

I got them right after getting tinnitus, and they fluctuate. Sometimes they are really bad.

I think they are always there for everybody but the brain filters them out. My theory is that when you get tinnitus it can disrupt that filter.
