Lenire — Bimodal Stimulation Treatment by Neuromod

Looks like they are speeding up the process.

"We are currently obtaining more clinic days and staff to ensure the wait time between the initial assessment and fitting appointment is closer ie, 0 - 2 weeks. Your fitting appointment will be booked when you are in the clinic for your initial assessment as we cannot reserve appointments."
Is that from an email they sent you?

I don't consider myself to have had "slight improvement". I've had silence for almost all of the last 5 days, which to me is a major improvement. Granted, I'm not cured, but it was worth every penny.
And your improvement was sudden, right? So mainly constant tinnitus until you started using Lenire?

I have finally got my appointment! After poking them again asking if they forgot me, I got it instantly.

5th of May, it seems like a long time to go. But well, maybe they refine the treatment until then, and I've got another reason for my doctor to sign me sick until then (lost my job because of this shit).

HOPE.

I found this to be funny too. Redknight's improvement is definitely not "slight improvement", I would call it a "major improvement". Or in Neuromod's own words, "significantly meaningful results".

Congrats. When did you submit your request?

Agree.
Tried to correct my post but is not possible to edit it anymore.

One thing we all can agree is that is relatively safe to say that Lenire does not aggravate tinnitus.

Allan1967 was the only person stating that Lenire increased his tinnitus. But that seems to be a very specific situation, since Allan's tinnitus is very reactive and he also had a disturbing moment with a fire alarm.

Don't you think so?

Source of people who have purchased a Lenire and have completed at least day 0 survey in the Lenire User Experience Group.

(29 people, 16 more to go!).

P.S. The application that generates this map has a funny notion about the location of France (it includes French Guiana I think!).

I managed to get an appointment for February. I'm still debating if it's worth an intercontinental flight and whether barometric pressure significantly affects the inner ear.

They give you 5 days to accept the initial appointment invitation and I'm still on the fence.

Does anyone know the rough timeline for U.S. commercialization for Neuromod or UMich/UMinn?

Neuromod? They aim for before 2020 or early 2020. Susan Shore probably in 2021.

Neuromod said they were going for FDA approval by the end of the year but it doesn't look like that's gonna happen so there's no real estimate for that.

Dr. Shore's device is expecting results mid 2020, hopefully commercialization sometime after that but no definite word on this. Dr. Shore has said she aims for commercialization in 2020 but doesn't promise it.

For Minnesota, Dr. Lim seems to be spending more of his time with Neuromod so there's no estimate on that device at all.

I'm in CA, I already booked my flight and have my lodging all set up for my appointment.

I have received an appointment for 6th March 2020, but not quite sure whether to go or not given that I live in New Zealand.

I can get free accommodation but realistically how long will I have to stay in Dublin, and how much am I looking at regarding costs?

Am I better to wait for more conclusive results and reviews?

I wondered why they sell equipment to the patient. Why not rent them for the duration of the treatment and then rent them to the next patient.

I would be happy to exchange appointment dates with you if you are happy to do that.

I mean if more time allows you to rethink your situation. Mine is 31st of March, 2020.

I would if they allowed it. I declined a September appointment and was later offered a February appointment. I feel like declining this one will backlog me until 2025.
