My Posting Place

Did you say 'Everything?!'
Ben already knew, he's been lurking the forum since the days of early MPP and has tinnitus himself

I left after a whole day of being on there. My very first post got locked so I saw no point in being a member anymore. It's tragically pathetic.

This is the thread that was locked to give you an idea:

Unbelievable. What was wrong with the post? Why not allow fundraising? How the bloody hell else are we ever going to cure tinnitus if we don't financially contribute to our own cause.
Don't even bother, sad but true. I "know" one of the Admins from another group I'm in, and I must say I'm truly surprised at her attitude, as I was sure she was on the same page as me, but clearly not.

Tell me about it. I will never understand this mentality as it defies all logic. That group has nearly 22,000 members but no ambition or motivation to do anything about the root cause of the problem. Ironically, if I had said "don't bother donating to research, it's a waste of time", I'm very confident that post would not have been locked as it wouldn't have approached breaking their very bizarre rule.

I still don't see where I broke rule 6. I didn't ask for any donations and I didn't post a fundraiser. If that's how they want to be then I'll leave them all to it as I see no long term benefit in ignoring the only thing that can solve this condition.

Apparently, their official reason for not wanting anything to do with research is that they don't want to have to verify anything. It's the laziest thing I've ever heard in my life. Like there's that many fundraisers anyway, and most of them are backed by either the BTA or ATA and the ones that aren't can be verified in like 10 minutes (and they should have done this already). Once you know about all the main ones (there aren't that many and we know about most of them) then you will know what's real and what's not, immediately. They just can't be bothered and I think it's beyond pathetic to have a support group that doesn't want to support any science that could actually help its members objectively.

Any other Americans here not give two sh!ts about the Super Bowl. I usually like to watch the highlights and commercials day after, that is all.

Usually I don't give a flying fuck about sports, but Maroon 5 is playing Sweet Victory in honor of Stephen Hillenburg, so I'm definitely watching for that.

@Jazzer your English sarcasm has fallen on deaf ears here!

Sam - I'm a bit of a 'Bozo,'
'Sarcasm' - a new one on me - had to look it up.
Doesn't sound like a very nice trait, does it?
Is there anything I can do about it?
Would a detox help?
an enema perhaps?
I tried honey & lemon - did sod all,
Conversion?
- not more psycho-bleedin'-therapy
for god sake.
Perhaps it'll just pass off.....
I'll keep you in the loop buddy....

Hi y'all. Internet access problems here in Laos.
A message to professor contrast.
Contrast, I know you are interested in H and believe you suffer from it.
Had it, to where forks and knives scraping plates hurt, or made me wince and recoil. Same with loud voices.
It went two months ago, went away or into remission. My T is still annoying as hell and intrusive.
I don't know what changed it, but I did change my diet drastically. I m 50 , had real high blood pressure, so I cut out sugar and salt. Eat lots of fruit and veg and fish, no chicken or meet. Salmon and avacados, ridiculous amounts,. I think my dietary changes really helped. Fresh ginger every morning with garlic.
Sadly, no drugs, weed, cigerettes, Booz, coffee. Completely straight edge, and exercise Everyday.
Perhaps these modifications can help

I just realised that falling for stupid shit like mewing might have caused my tinnitus. Will an orthondotist help me with fixing a potential tmj?

My hiatus is complete

I got a crappy new job that does allow me to work in quiet. I'm saving up to go to Korea as well. Will take me a long time but it's my goal for this year. Thank you @JohnAdams for the inspiration you're the GOAT.

I will be recommencing memeing Jastreboff the Jackoff alongside other projects for which my worthless time will be spent since I have nothing else

When @threefirefour becomes a doctor does he assend to something beyond Normie?
