OC, I intentionally made Gimp's side lousier.

https://www.gimp.org/news/2018/08/30/handshake-gnome-donation/

This is the ONLY REASON, why Gimp is tied with the early days of CC/CS6. Once they get non-destructive layer editing and multi layer select filters in 3.0 - 3.2 then things will get very serious

Neural Network removes the backgroundthen Gimp applys a color erase brush around the hair.

Gimp and Lazpaint can effortlessly interact with one another using the ORA format.

done, the biggest error was the top left corner's shadow being out of position. I forgot to cast the shadow layer independent of the object. The text (on the bottom) can be reedited for whatever in lazpaint. The text on the top corner is unfortunately fixed.

Having a 3 gigabyte neural network to remove backgrounds sure does assist Garbage tier software and its ability to select by color.

Lots of clothing websites use technology like this to render the outfit in different colors.

@Zugzug I'm taking info on people who get dismissed by doctors. I know you have a rare autoimmune disorder but do you mind telling me how many doctors told you "it is all in your head" or implied the problem was a "psychogenic illness"?

Holy shit that's cool. You changed the color of the shirt with some software?

I'd prefer to wait until I'm officially diagnosed. But my God, 6 years ago, the number of doctors that told me it was stress is probably too many to count. To be fair though, my friend did just die and I was stressed, but I was insisting to all of them that what I was feeling was not normal at all. Besides, who makes up pain? I can't think of a single human being who imagines pain lol.

I'm "lucky" in that I've had relatively good treatment for hyperacusis standards. That does NOT mean I've had good medical care in total, but rather that it's been pretty good compared to what others experience. I had a doctor treat me with high dose immunosuppressants for months during the pandemic. Obviously, it's fair to say that he believed me. Several other top doctors stopped me after 5 minutes and told me to see a psychiatrist.

I am looking for confirmation bias to support my original assumption that doctors don't give a fuck about anything and they are just mindless NPC's that just dismiss us. I hate to take down data that is in contradictory to what I want to hear.

But my God, 6 years ago, the number of doctors that told me it was stress is probably too many to count.
He looks up into the starry night with his telescope. Nope no God found - he said. Just stars, planets and other celestial machinery in motion.

Thanks for the info ZugZug. I just want to see how common the "it is all in your head" phenomena is.

God is something invented by our neurons for survival purposes, he said. He then questioned that maybe his skepticism of New Age Witchcraft was also for survival purposes. Something along the lines of keeping crackpots out of his tribe of other materialists who conglomerated by pure chance. He tried to describe this probability by pressing period and then holding his finger on the 0 key indefinitely, assuming that when his body naturally passed out, his head would land on the 1 key. This made sense to him.

More like the Jorge Luis Borges's Library of Babel

https://www.libraryofbabel.info/

Every combination of the 29 English letters going up to 400+ pages does exist in this library, 99.9 (infinite)% of the library is utter nonsense. We just happen to be on a super rare page.

Not just any software, but the GNU Image Manipulation Program; or GIMP for short.

upload_2021-3-6_5-45-22.png

along with Facebooks neural network software which Rivals Adobe and is usable offline.

Original images used. The neural network was able to remove backgrounds with my internet disabled. It had a minor error on the girls hair which gimp took several minutes to solve, and a minor error on the bottom right of her dress which got instantly solved by pasting part of the the original layer on the cut out layer.

I also gave the dog blue eyes as one of his eyes of red.

Now, I must go to another corner of the Internet to debate Adobe users.

@Contrast

The following is something that makes me think of you. Recently, my student version of Microsoft Office expired. I stuck it to the man by not re-licensing. Instead, I use Google Sheets and Google Docs for free. Of course, it's not really free because now I am developing more positive feelings towards Google, and therefore, selling my advertising profile to them. I'm also more likely to get roped in and get the premium version, spending my money on other dumb things far more expensive than Microsoft Office.

Google knows exactly what they are doing. I also love the Android phone which provides me with repeated content of things that my brain can't break out of, like a zombie.

The Alter cheers for this kind of stuff.

@Contrast, I was checking out some of this Ben Thompson guy's videos. Are you saying he is not legit or about TRT in general?

Thanks,
KWC
I am not saying he is illegitimate? I never used those or similar words. I criticize TRT all the time but I never commented much on him. The only thing I did was take @annV 's request to look and see if his video testimonials could be reverse image searched. My Reverse image search failed, and also noted most of the videos appear to have been made on smart phones cameras and they did not appear scripted.

In other words he seems legit. I only did a mini investigation for AnnV.

I don't know if the alter would have any comment on software and consumer technology. Yeah, marketers know all about dopamine exploitation.

I have my own executables and license key to Office 2007 and Office 2000 that I run inside a virtual computer. They still work on modern Windows 10 though.

Personally I recommend these programs for Office.

https://www.libreoffice.org/
LibreOffice is what I use most of the time out of habit. Even though the next app I will list is superior. From what I was told LibreOffice is good enough for a lot of things (office and spreadsheet and math) but cannot really make professional presentations (draw and Impress suck). Writing documents is still something I prefer doing with it. But that is the only thing I do as I only use LibreWriter and not calc, impress, draw ect.... As I do not have needs for the other parts of the suite.

https://www.onlyoffice.com/
This is free, open source software that is backed by a real company, and it is far more advance then LibreOffice. It even has a collab mode that you can pay them for. They make money through collab mode, but non-collab local use is free. This is also really good for making professional presentational documents. I know because I made a test document with it. OnlyOffice Presentational mode can easily make stroke and gradient text. It has dozens of preset backgrounds and you can always add your own things.

OnlyOffice has online modes and local installers that still have full professional functionality when used offline. Something Google Docs does not.

Part of this photo uses the Rodilius effect and a machine learning app to remove the background. The fox was cut out and pasted back into the original background, where it was given a a Roilius and a recolor, and the background was given heavy filters and designs. Despite Gimp's smart patch tool having actual non-destructive editing. I messed up and forgot to use it, there is a blur error on the chest region of the fox

Added a snow/rain filter and this definitely would be a lot better if I did not forget to enable non-destructive heal patching.

I don't think an algorithm that compares pixel values similar to how antialiasing works is considered a "neural network".

Besides, the buzz word you're looking to abuse is "deep deep AI machine cloud learning blockchain dodgecoin"

From what I understand they feed computers thousands of images to train it. Doesn't that involve artificial intelligence?

Also time for the daily shitpost against scammers.

Inkscape can render high quality vector based non-destructive reziable text. With features I like such as gradients, individual colors for characters, and stroke outlines. Then the graphical text can be bitmap cloned with alt b, copied (ctrl C) and pasted into another graphical program. You can save it was a native format to re-edit text later. Everytime someone wants to modify the text they will have to bitmap clone and copy paste into another app; like Gimp.

Afterlife? That assumes life is even a thing, beyond just a bunch of meat robots performing high-functioning computations, he said.

No ZugZug, you got it all wrong. If you go out of your way to make garbage tier software look good you are going to get a great reward. Heretic jk.
