Can I request dust bath pics of your Chinchilla?
Absolutely! She already took a bath today, so I'll try and take a short video tomorrow. Let's see how it goes because she is super fast and a bit stubborn. lol.

Some pets that I had years ago that I miss (bad quality because they are camera phone pics of framed pics):

She actually smiled this much all the time. She was a police dog drop out (because she was too gentle). Photo is about 10 years old.

The cross-eyed kitty was the boss of everyone (and started my life long love of tuxedo cats)

And just for fun, this at a zoo in Thailand:

I look 13 there but I was actually 25.

Yesss! FGG! You know these photos make me happy. :) Bloody love seeing you all.

This is too cute. She's absolutely beautiful - and the dog isn't bad either ;)

Hopefully the Thailand zoo was better than the zoo I accidentally visited in Vietnam. I though it was a botanical garden, but when I went inside, it was full of dirty, starving animals, head butting the sides of their tiny little cages... I felt sick. :(

It was a good zoo. I had a chance to spend a month learning elephant medicine in Chang Mai during my last year of vet school and the Thai vets students only had good things to say about the zoo (we traveled with the local elephant med professors usually but the zoo trip was just for fun). There were a lot of land mine victim elephants near the Myanmar border :(.

Zoos are obviously never going to be the same as nature but it was far from a roadside zoo (those absolutely break my heart too) and they took in a lot of injured animals that had nowhere else to go. There was a paralyzed Orangutan I remember there and they set up a whole vine swinging system for her to get around and gave her Fanta daily (her favorite).

Very nice looking dog! You both look very happy, what pets do you have now?

I was actually surprised, before seeing @FGG's picture I got the impression she was an older woman, like in her 50s or something :)
I'm actually somewhat older (in my early 40s), especially compared to a lot of people on this site. I posted a few more recent pics in the thread.

The photo with my dog is 10 years old and the camel pic even older.

To answer your pet question, though, I have a one eyed kitty (another tuxedo cat) and share a place with an owner of a chocolate lab.

Still very young! I'm a stone throw away from 40 myself...

I'm deathly allergic to cats, if I go into a house where cats live within minutes it hits me like a brick wall... watering eyes, sneezing, and if I stay longer my throat starts closing up and I struggle to breathe.

So 40s is very young and 50s is older? Such a transformative decade when I already have so much going on :)

I've heard that your 30s are your new 20s because everyone is spending their prime years stuck inside for the pandemic. By that logic you can shave a decade off yourself! If the trend keeps up maybe everyone will be young forever...

My best friend is 47. I am so jealous of him. He lived through the best of the years. I would do anything to have been a teenager in the late 80s/early 90s. I was born 1989 - just a bit too late for my liking.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, one of my close friends is a whole ten years younger than me! She still has all the enthusiasm for life, that you do at that age. Her mind is super quick, and she is always coming up with crazy ideas. She's fit and healthy too. Bless her - she's awesome.

When I saw your Tuxedo with the moustache, I thought we had the only one with a moustache. Meet Groucho.

. Amazing! what an incredible experience.

They don't smell bad. You do have to bath them, though, because the hair doesn't wick the oils out not because they smell bad.

You can still be allergic to a hairless cat because the allergy is to the saliva. But the saliva not being on hair that goes everywhere helps.

I now realize that I can't even write down my own pick up line correctly.

It was supposed to say, "Hey boy, are you my tinnitus? Because you're on my mind all the time."

That should tell you enough about my flirting skills :D

I feel this. Lol.

This is why I don't generally flirt.

"Is that a TRT manual in your pocket or are you happy to see me?"
