I absolutely love your outlook on life @El BUZZ. I feel we are very similar in the way that we keep pushing through it, keep trying to enjoy things, and keep appreciating the little things in life.

Spikes sure are bastards (I'm going through one as I write this). I hope yours settles down quickly.

Much love <3

P.S what size are your feet!!? They look massive!
Watch out, you mention big feet and you'll excite @Exit.

Happy...

...you get the point.

Dude, you hitting the gym behind our backs? Those guns are chiseled!
Haha thanks. But no, I've lost a lot of muscle mass since June. I was going 5 days a week to the gym prior to this. I'm slowing starting again working out from home now.

Feeling blessed being alive on a tranquil day like this... Even though ears may buzz, I feel calm and silence within.

"When you arise in the morning, think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive—to breathe, to think, to enjoy, to love."

Big tight hug flying that way, mate!

Yesterday I went to the cinema with friends for the first time in two years. You know, COVID-19 did bad to those places. We watched a documentary about the pro skater Ali Boulala. Quite interesting. Find it and watch it, mate. Titled The Scars of Ali Boulala.

Here I am with my guys and Ali (green bag) himself.

You are very good looking.

The kind of guy that will have beautiful children ;)

You do look a bit sad and tired, but it suits you somehow.

Maybe in a couple of weeks that god damn spike will be history and you will show us your happy face!

Appreciate the kind words guys... *blushes* @Wrfortiscue, @aura.

@aura, I actually have a six year old daughter :) Yes I was pretty tired in this pic, I felt rather worn down. Feeling a bit better atm though thankfully! Has your spike settled?
I bet your little girl is gorgeous! :)

So happy that you are better.

I'm better too. Managed to get some sleep last night (with Clonazepam).

...it's gonna be a whole different kind of "hug".

Say Buzz,

Ain't you afraid that the knocks to your head while boxing might not be good for your tinnitus?

Well who knows? They might even fix it for all I know.
I've given up playing music, which I've been doing most of my life. I've given up going to concerts. I've given up going to parties. I've given up going to clubs. I've given up going to certain restaurants (despite having been in a LOUD one last Saturday and being paying it with a monstrous spike right now). I've given up booze. I've given up certain drugs I used to enjoy. I avoid being around loud laughs. I avoid being around kids playing. I'm in a constant state of alert. I feel like my life is finished everytime this crap spikes.

I suspect life would hit me harder than any possible punch if I give up boxing, which is my last remaining source of joy. I know there's tennis, golf, jogging, yoga, etc...

But I wouldn't be able to handle the defeat if I had to jump to any of those. Suicide ideations knock at my door too often.

Sorry.

Not doing things you love isn't a guarantee either. Hope the tinnitus gets whacked out of your head!

I've heard it happen...

Although I've heard and experienced the opposite too.

I tend to be extremely cautious about not being exposed to loud sounds. Last Friday (6 days ago) I went to a tiny restaurant where everything was outrageously loud. I thought my ears could handle it. I was so wrong... I didn't have earplugs with me. I could feel my ears vibrating with the peak volumes of people shouting. When I left my tinnitus sounded like never before, not louder but different. Next day was louder than ever and it has remained like that since then. Will it go back to normal?

We are constantly at risk.

Could you please share with me both stories about tinnitus being eliminated or triggered by a punch, please?

I would take a hard kick square to my nuts if it got rid of my tinnitus!

I would amputate

You can't whip this bunch @OnceUponaTime, they've gone beyond whipping. I told them you would be "whipping mad" when you see what they have done. Bunch of kids in the cookie jar.
