Ahhh, life is hard enough. Let them enjoy their cookies. :)

How have you been??
It's not been good. Tinnitus has some days gotten so bad I can't think. We lost my wife's brother a month back to liver cancer, we travelled to Malta to see him, a week after we came home he passed. Some days she is good, some days depression but we manage to get through it all. The wave of the coronavirus here is out of control so we have become recluse again.

Ok, so how are you and your family? I hope you are all well, and you get to enjoy your holidays.

Is green your favorite color?
Lol. I used to have this exact pair of ear defenders, in the toxic green finish.

They were my favourite at the time, because all the pairs I had before them were in radioactive yellow.

I say were because these are the older model of the lowest end (protection wise) of the 3M Peltor line.

You basically can't wear these in public without looking like you:

a) just came off of a construction site

or

b) are a straight up looney tune

Which is why I switched to the more recent version:

which to some degree, actually look like headphones. Not that I haven't been caught out a couple of times, but they still fool around 6/10 people.

Aww, sorry to hear it has been rough for you both lately. :(

Too much stress can cause tinnitus to flair up.

I hope you and your lovely wife find comfort in one another and try to calm down.

I see in your pictures you have a nice woodstove.

Fire it up, have some nice hot coco and cuddle up with your wife and kitties. That'll help. :)

I am ok, I guess. Tinnitus ever present, the hum/drone non-stop but life goes on.

I was experiencing severe headaches almost every day for months and months. A friend of mine told me to drink celery juice. Long story short, I started taking fresh celery juice, on an empty stomach, everyday and the headaches have subsided! That makes me happy!

Here's a pic of my chickies. :)

Those are the earmuffs I used too, the last one.

I downgraded from the Peltor Optime III, which was, in my opinion, the best in terms of sound attenuation and comfort, but a lot more bulky. Even so, I was once approached by teenagers asking about those "cool wireless headphones"

I use the Peltors Optime II which I got for Christmas last year lol. I don't think they're the highest end, but does the job, and I think at least some may confuse them for headphones, but then again; I do get the stares on my bike trip to work.

I want to feel like this again.

I'll do my best to feel like this again.

Is this near Bucharest? I need to visit sometime when I'm healthy again. Romania and Moldova are the only places I haven't been to in the Balkan region.

This is Constanta. It is 230 km from Bucharest to Constanta.
Makes a lot of sense... The Black Sea is in the eastern most part of Romania... The waves look Rad :rockingbanana:

Hoping you will start to feel better and get back to normalcy. It's tough :(
