Cool dad :D

What's up with the hat from Norway? :)

Are you doing better?
Dad has been always cool, which doesn't mean it has always been fun.

Hat is a last year Christmas present. Very important piece of gear for a bald guy.

I am definitely better. Spike subsided. Now back to my LOUD baseline. That comfort zone which would be hellish for those filthy healthy hearing people out there.

Thanks for asking, mate. <3

The ship of my life may or may not be sailing on calm and amiable seas.
The challenging days of my existence may or may not be bright and promising.
Stormy or sunny days, glorious or lonely nights, I maintain an attitude of gratitude.
If I insist on being pessimistic, there is always tomorrow.

Today I am blessed.

I finally made it to Central Park very early in the morning. First time back since April.

@Steph1710, a beautiful tree in such a stunning setting! Hope you are feeling somewhat better?

@ZFire, well done (y) I love Central Park - took my wedding photos there "back in the day".
That's awesome. It's a beautiful place to spend some time for a special occasion especially with the one you hold dear. I actually saw a bride and groom taking pictures nearby. My brother also took his wedding photos there too and I totally understand why.

Dad just visited me. What a heavy guy!

El Buzz, you look the very picture of youth and good health I must have got my tinnitus at around much the same age as yourself. What made actually angry back then was that in my view, I was tip-top healthy. Trouble sleeping all right, but otherwise? No complaints.

And these stoopid medics and specialists togged out in their white coats and wearing stethoscopes and such? Why didn't they just get a screw-driver and look for the loose screw inside my ear and tighten it up again and clear up that awful high pitched ringing?

We've come a long way since then. I'm really optimistic that in the next five years or so they'll have some cure to at least turn the volume down.

Hang in there, Bro.

I'm not quite as old as your dear old Da --- but gettin' there.

Thanks! I'll take that as a much needed compliment. Always sweet to have one.
I've got my tinnitus October 9, 2015. That's 6 years ago. I'm 43 yo now. Long time I'm not a youngster anymore but I'm perfectly healthy and my workout routine is hard and demanding which keeps me in good shape somehow. I've been around music most of my life playing trombone at a very early age then moving to clarinet due to angry neighbors... Then saxophone to get the chicks. Loads of hours of study, rehearsal, recording sessions, gigs and a monumental passion for listening to all kind of music genres seemed to have fed the tinnitus beast.

And yes, mate, I trust science a lot but not doctors.

Crisp winter weather before sunset... Surrounded by the sea and the forest.

Without an anchor, we can be drifted to any shore. May you find hope as an anchor.

I wanna see them TREES!
Putting mine up today.

Not finished but since you are in such a hurry to see them trees... :D

Here it is.

My tree is on a rotating stand, that's why you see the angel topper kinda backwards.

Maybe I can upload a video later.

I'm having a hard time coming to terms with the fact that that is an "unfinished" tree...

What more can you fit on it!?

That is very clever. I can tell, and am pleased to see that you are taking TREE BATTLE 2021 very seriously, @OnceUponaTime.

Unbelievably you are actually giving @Steph1710's mansion Tree (aka, Bruce Pine) a run for it's infinite amount of money.
Maybe I can upload a video later.
I would like that very much.

The view out that window, amazing, a person could get lost looking at that.
Thanx, Elmer.

I wish I had a better camera. Because of the sunlight coming through the window, it is always a bit hard to take a good picture that's clear.

Not sure if I shared this picture before, but it was early in the morning and as I was having my first cup of coffee, I saw this beauty going by. Had to snap a few pictures. :)
