Any thumbs up for this fellow? Someone told me if you look at this picture long enough your tinnitus goes away. He looks sort of familiar but I just can't remember who he is.

I think you're in love @just1morething.
I may be just a smart arse that thinks Trump is a much better President than Biden. After all he was new to politics in 2016. I liked his sense of humor and policies much better than Biden. Of course he was a little rough around the edges at times.

It's ironic he has removed hair in most areas and then put hair on top, haha... His hair has been rearranged, and then he tried to "comb" it, with that awful outcome.

Lol, @just1morething. You are a smart arse and you know what I'm talking about.

Does anyone else have crushes from Hollywood's older days, or its golden age perhaps?
Meant to answer this ages ago.

My Mum watches old (50s-70s) films all the time, so whenever I sit down to talk to her while she's watching them I often spot some of the most beautiful women I've ever seen on camera, on our TV screen.

No fake breasts or butt augmentations and especially no lip fillers.

Just plain and simple natural beauty (for the most part).

The problem is they're all Sleuth Crime, War and Romance films (none of which I'm interested in), so I never catch the names of any of the women (or the films even).

Despite this, I'll do my best to example what I'm talking about.

Anyone ever crush on Jessica Rabbit?
Been crushing on cartoon girls since I was about 4 years old, and still do.

It all started with Penny from Inspector Gadget, and continued downhill from there.

Also, agree with @El BUZZ, always had a thing for Velma Dinkley

That was a damn good cosplay of Velma you found there btw, @El BUZZ.

I've only ever seen one other as good as that, a couple of years ago, but that was in a... I'll stop there.

Funny thing was, you posted this at the bottom of the post that prompted this one, @Jerad. So I was surprised when I saw Dana Tan at the bottom of the list.

I was jealous of Future Batman's girlfriend for a long time in my early teens. But I certainly didn't expect to see her make a mainstream list of the 20 hottest cartoon girls. :wideyed:

@Damocles, a man of culture ladies and gentleman.

Beautiful then and just as, if not even more so, beautiful now!

The incredible Candice Bergen, sigh.

As for cartoon girls, @Damocles, I used to have a thing for Joan from the Captain Future series when I was a kid. Anybody out there who has also seen / remembers that series?

Never saw Captain Future, @Leila.

According to the Wikipedia article:
Significant was a 1978-79 Japanese anime, which was dubbed into several languages and proved popular, particularly in Spanish, French, German, Italian and Arabic.
So I guess it never really got much of a showcase in English speaking countries.

What we had, was Captain Planet!

He and the Planeteers made tackling climate change cool before tackling climate change was cool.

"Captain Planet, he's our hero, gonna take pollution down to zero!"

@Damocles, a man of culture ladies and gentleman.
And that's not even a full list...

Nice choices for those golden age actresses and cartoons, @Damocles. Was Lesley Fields Sally's mom? She looks exactly like Sally Fields.

I like Bulma and Chun-Li the most of your cartoon selections. Did you like the live action Velma in the 2 Scooby Doo movies?

I've never come across the series on TV but Captain Planet sound like a proper hero :)

I was surprised to learn that the series was broadcast on German television for quite some time (1990-96) because this is the first I've heard about it. Then again, back then my life didn't have a lot of TV in it, so I shouldn't really be surprised that I missed it.

Ah, I just noticed that @Jerad.

When I uploaded the shots I was just copy and pasting the names below them to save time, wasn't really checking them for accuracy. Anyway, for whatever reason the website I ripped the Sally Field picture from must have written "Lesley Fields" for no reason I can understand.

But yes, that's her.

Ironically, considering her looks, my favourite film featuring her didn't cash in on them at all.

To be fair, I haven't watched it in over twenty years.

Yeah, you have to think, I was sort of posting these chronologically. So I was like 6 when I was crushing on an anthropomorphic cat, and 10 or 11 when I was in love with Cardcaptor Sakura and the Sailor Moon girls.

But yeah, that Chun-Li and Bulma (´﹃`). They paved the way for me developing my first serious crush when I was 12 years old... on a female instructor at my summer camp who was 21.

Setting obtainable goals since day one (or day 4380, if you like).
Did you like the live action Velma in the 2 Scooby Doo movies?
No, I didn't think the casting of her was very good, plus I was in love with Sarah Michelle Gellar after the very first episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

In fact, Sarah Michelle Gellar has been the longest running celebrity crush of my life.

I was so disappointed in her when she decided to tie the knot with that Freddie Prinze Jr.

If only she had given me more time... and some kind of hearing protection amulet thingy from the Magic Box, when she was on set.

I've never heard the word "incorrigible" before. I assume it's a compliment of some kind? I looked it up and decided to forgive you this time. :puppykisses:
That's awfully kind of you @just1morething but how can I forgive you for constantly subjecting me to the who shall not be named? Give me someone nice to look at.

I've seen that episode of the Twilight Zone. Great show.
