Bill, I completely agree.
Let T win a few battles by keeping us from doing things short term, so that it wont win the war.

Modern science is lies mixed with the truth. Open your eyes the truth is right there in front of you. As for falling off the edge of the earth, that's not possible as we are in a closed system. Ever heard of the firmament? If not check out YouTube. No-one can leave the earth. The moon landings all fake.

Thanks for posting the clip @Bill Bauer The guy's erratic behaviour and poor attempt at comedy got on my nerves so couldn't watch it sorry.

His manner of presenting scientific information got his YouTube channel over 1.2 billion views and over 12 million subscribers. In any case, I would think that it would be worth it to try to ignore problems with the presentation for 10 minutes, in order to see a definitive proof that Earth is a sphere.
I used to think the earth was a globe, sphere whatever you want to call it @Bill Bauer but I no longer think so. Regarding the presenter's presentation I couldn't stand watching that for another 10 seconds much less 10mins. Thanks for posting the video all the same. I have seen this presenter on YouTube and just cannot stand him. Guess my age has something to do with it....

I am going to the festival and that is final and is not not up to debate. You guys have your opinion and i have mine.....NOTHING is certain here in life anyways, so taking a (small) risk on my ears/T is just many of lifes everyday risks.
The human brain is the most complicated computer ever devised and although scientists have made tremendous discoveries, there is still a lot more that needs to be learned and uncovered. If/when scientists fully understand the brain and all its mechanisms, they will be able to create a digital version of this organ. It is really fascinating stuff.

Michael does not believe the earth is round but he believes his ENT when he says Michael has no hearing loss because his audiogram up to 8 khz looks fine.

I have had many hearing tests over the years and my consultant says I have above average hearing. I believe this is helped by taking Gingko Biloba as it increases blood circulation to body extremities: feet, hands and head including the auditory pathways. Regarding my belief that the earth is flat, and you believe it's round. Just a difference of opinion. I suggest you check-out YouTube and open your eyes because the truth is right in front of you.Michael

When I came here I wanted to hear that I would get better but nobody knows. We can only protect our ears, hope for the best and prepare for the worst. Staying away from this forum is sometimes the best thing to do to remove your focus from the T but nobody here is trying to get you down, we're all in the same boat unfortunately. For the cure? At the moment there is none but they also did not do excessive testing where they exclude a cure. That's why the earth is flat or round 'discussion' comes from. The earth's shape is thoroughly tested and we can exclude flat earth. Tinnitus research is still at the early stages so it can go either way. But we can't say for sure that there will never be a cure.

Would it? Really if you think like..you had some silence time..then you had to "return" to the "tinnitus state of mind"...wouldn't it be mindwrecking

She is not planning to protect her ears, so I am no longer sure about how things will work out for her.
