Turmeric with Curcumin Seems to Be Helping

@Danny Boy it must really be doing something because I've noticed a difference for sure since I've started taking it prior to using it my tinnitus was roaring now I honestly go most of the day without noticing it except when I'm finally home and I sit down and I start paying attention to it I hear it but other than that it's been much lower and less Intrusive and I know they say that most people that suffer from it it tends to feed after 2 to 3 months and yesterday marks exactly 3 months since I've had it so I don't know if it's just naturally going away or if the Turmeric is really doing something either way I'm pleased and will continue with the Turmeric!
Hey, are you still using curcumin? I'm just curious as I have taken it in the past couple of days to try it out. :)

Will receive mine tomorrow. Hopefully it will help with my spike because these are the worst, waking me up screaming in middle of the night.
And if it can help with the normal ringing and other sounds, that would be a blessing.

Also they mentioned something interesting and that's why I am posting now: black pepper is not good with curcumin.

In a lot of curcumin supplement they add black pepper (piperine), but the one I bought, they said it doesn't help in the absorption of curcumin but help in the permeability of intestine: the result is irritation of gut and toxins and metals permeate more (if I can say so).

Just wanted to let you know.

11 days since my last post I can confirm that I am still pain free in my left ear (the bad one). I had a slight discomfort early last week for a few hours, but nothing like the last 10 months. I am now 99% convinced that curcumin got rid of the pain. Let's hope it stays like that!
Now if my tinnitus could also dramatically improve...

Four weeks in with 2g of 95% pure curcumin and absolutely no change whatsoever.

Prednisolone didn't have any affect on my tinnitus either. I wonder if mine has nothing to do with inflammation.

Prednisone did nothing for me either but curcumin does. This is certainly looking like a good indicator of certain subtypes, as alcohol.

From the articles I read I think you have curcumin that is not bioavailable because generally those are the ones with 95% curcumin.

In this article in french they are talking about the different patents that exist.
And it confirms piperine (black pepper) is useless AND bad.

You should go with the three first patents (find which brands sell it).

Plot twist: they are two times more expensive.

Also the piperine one is really widely used in all kinds of brand because the patent is from 1995 and has been made public.

I am currently taking Spirullina (more for allergies than for tinnitus) but I will probably also try some curcumin later.

Does anyone know the dosage when I buy turmeric powder? I kind of prefer that instead of pills...

500mg should be fine.

Also with turmeric powder? Because on the package they write something like 5g for the powder? Turmeric is something different than pure Curcumin or am I wrong?
Curcumin is the extract. If the package says 5 grams then go for it. Let us know how it works out.

Up t0 20 grams a day of raw turmeric.

Wake up !!! There is no supplement in the world that will touch tinnitus. You think that because it is invisible, just perhaps a small chemical push will make it further disappear. However, for most of us, tinnitus is the manifestation of actual neurological damage, and in most cases is the loss of part your auditory system. This is like you get amputated a couple of fingers, and expecting that taking supplements will make them grow back.

you're wrong, jerk. many of us here have experienced a significant reduction of loudness from curcumin/turmeric.
Many people have experienced great improvements by doing absolutely nothing.

You have cured your T so many times with Dr. Mimbo Shin and the curcumin that I do not understand why you hang out so often in this Forum. Maybe the reason is because you still have intrusive tinnitus in spite of your claims.

I never once claimed my tinnitus was cured. Get your shit straight dweeb. I experience up to 7 days or more at a time where my tinnitus is not bothersome, and I experience large periods of near silence, yet I still have noise sensitivity. I am far from being able to play my drums or electric guitar or go to loud venues without paying for it the next day or two, so I still am dealing with this issue. I have improved significantly, but still am not "cured".
