I've been alternating between turmeric and curcumin and it seems to not make a difference.Does natural curcumin or turmeric does the same or should i buy a curcumin supplement which has a higher dose of it to see potential effects?

Natural turmeric which you use in food right? If so how do you use it ?I've been alternating between turmeric and curcumin and it seems to not make a difference.

Hey, are you still using curcumin? I'm just curious as I have taken it in the past couple of days to try it out.@Danny Boy it must really be doing something because I've noticed a difference for sure since I've started taking it prior to using it my tinnitus was roaring now I honestly go most of the day without noticing it except when I'm finally home and I sit down and I start paying attention to it I hear it but other than that it's been much lower and less Intrusive and I know they say that most people that suffer from it it tends to feed after 2 to 3 months and yesterday marks exactly 3 months since I've had it so I don't know if it's just naturally going away or if the Turmeric is really doing something either way I'm pleased and will continue with the Turmeric!
Just ordered as well!Just ordered... Hoping it makes a difference.
I recommend eating it at dinner before bed.Hey, are you still using curcumin? I'm just curious as I have taken it in the past couple of days to try it out.
What dose have you been taking and what brand? So glad to hear it's working for you.But who would be Batman and who would be Robin?

I usually take 2 capsules of 600x2 a day. For a total of 1200mg. I don't take it everyday though as my tinnitus isn't too bad these days. What dose have you been taking and what brand? So glad to hear it's working for you.
Prednisone did nothing for me either but curcumin does. This is certainly looking like a good indicator of certain subtypes, as alcohol.Four weeks in with 2g of 95% pure curcumin and absolutely no change whatsoever.
Prednisolone didn't have any affect on my tinnitus either. I wonder if mine has nothing to do with inflammation.
From the articles I read I think you have curcumin that is not bioavailable because generally those are the ones with 95% curcumin.Four weeks in with 2g of 95% pure curcumin and absolutely no change whatsoever.
Those studies are complete nonsense. If you take it with food it absorbs just fine. From the articles I read I think you have curcumin that is not bioavailable because generally those are the ones with 95% curcumin.
500mg should be fine.I am currently taking Spirullina (more for allergies than for tinnitus) but I will probably also try some curcumin later.
Does anyone know the dosage when I buy turmeric powder? I kind of prefer that instead of pills...

Curcumin is the extract. If the package says 5 grams then go for it. Let us know how it works out. Also with turmeric powder? Because on the package they write something like 5g for the powder? Turmeric is something different than pure Curcumin or am I wrong?

Up t0 20 grams a day of raw turmeric.I am currently taking Spirullina (more for allergies than for tinnitus) but I will probably also try some curcumin later.

you're wrong, jerk. many of us here have experienced a significant reduction of loudness from curcumin/turmeric.There is no supplement in the world that will touch tinnitus.
Many people have experienced great improvements by doing absolutely nothing.you're wrong, jerk. many of us here have experienced a significant reduction of loudness from curcumin/turmeric.
I never once claimed my tinnitus was cured. Get your shit straight dweeb. I experience up to 7 days or more at a time where my tinnitus is not bothersome, and I experience large periods of near silence, yet I still have noise sensitivity. I am far from being able to play my drums or electric guitar or go to loud venues without paying for it the next day or two, so I still am dealing with this issue. I have improved significantly, but still am not "cured".Many people have experienced great improvements by doing absolutely nothing.
You have cured your T so many times with Dr. Mimbo Shin and the curcumin that I do not understand why you hang out so often in this Forum. Maybe the reason is because you still have intrusive tinnitus in spite of your claims.
How long did it take to start working??Prednisone did nothing for me either but curcumin does. This is certainly looking like a good indicator of certain subtypes, as alcohol
I was looking up these supplements you listed and a side effect for this supplement is ringing in the ears but then I imagine you are aware of that since you seem to know the research.EGCG.
