  • How are you doing this month? I totally sympathise. I have a lot of same symptoms.
Been also to the GP Wednesday and she is still not afraid there is something with my hearing but said that the eczema in my ears is worse
    4Grace
You have time on your side. Stay strong. You can heal.
Tuesday a new hearing test by a audicien who has T itself. It feels like he understands me and my fears.
Can I just kill myself? The weird hearing is making me so anxious... Tempting to ask a new consulent by the ENT
    Marina Moon
Better days will come, one day we'll be okay again <3
    Chronic hyperventilation...
    TheCapybara
Hope you've been well Luchia, take it easy

    ❤️
    Mister Muso
I've had breathing stress for years off and on. It *is* possible to get more control again and slow down the breath. I've put a Pinterest board on my profile with links that helped me
How are you doing? I hope all is well <3

I'm okay, On the moment much pain at the back of my head and around my ears and jaw. My ear is also leaking they think because of the eczema in my ears. How are you ? @Marina Moon
    Marina Moon
Keep hanging in there! We'll one day get back to pain free days. The left side of my face is constricting really badly, but the nerve pain down my arm has stopped recently.
Having a ear infection... very sick of it and scared to take meds for it. Someone has experiences with eardrups? Did it do something with T?
    BellaMia
I think it just depends on the person but if you have an ear infection then I would be more afraid of that then the drops. There's also other meds to treat ear infection.
    xLuchiaaa
Think I am going to ask for something else, I was reading that they also can give a antibotic if you are very sick of it
Someone experience with the sour eardrups? I have a ear canal infection at both sides on the moment and I am feeling so Dizzy of it

Hello / how has your T been doing? Better?
Went this week to a appointment with the jaw chirurg, My molar was not infected what they saw on the pic but I have TMD they said
    BellaMia
    TMJ??
    xLuchiaaa
Here they are calling it TMD, Because it's D for disorder and the J for the joint but that's how they are calling it here in Holland :)
    Marina Moon
@BellaMia Everyone has two TMJs but not everyone has TMD :) TMJ is the abbreviation of the joint, temporomandibular joint, it is comprised of many parts, that connects the mandible to the maxilla. The D in TMD stands for disorder/dysfunction of the TMJ when either the muscles or joint (or both) are not functioning properly.
How are things going for you? Hope you are doing better.
    xLuchiaaa
It's going with ups and downs on the moment. I am in a lot of pain but luckily I am getting treatment for my neck. T is still here but some moments I can forget about it. That's why I am also less here to like not focus on it.
    xLuchiaaa
    How are you ?
    4Grace
@xLuchiaaa - great to hear about T improvement. That's great news!! I can feel myself doing a very little better emotionally it's just that T and H always keep progressing. It keeps resetting the clock to habituating. Who knows. Maybe in another year.
Hey Luchia, just wanted to check in. Hope you've been well lately :)
    xLuchiaaa
I am starting by a Osteopath for it. I was by a jaw physiotherapist but she even couldn't massage my neck because it was too painful. This week I had a first appointment by a osteopath for examinations and my first neck nerve is out of place, Tomorrow I have my first treatment for it. T is still here but some moments I can forget about it.
    xLuchiaaa
A late congratulations! How was it ? ❤️ I hope you still could had a nice birthday @TheCapybara
    TheCapybara
@xLuchiaaa I hope the treatment goes well Luchia! Definitely familiar with jaw and neck pains, I hope you can get the needed help for it. Birthday was okay! I got to grill, and I didn't really mind the noise too much.
You wrote earlier that you want to start taking anti-depressants and something to calm your nerves... I myself am now in the same situation... Did you manage to find the medications?
I can't do this anymore.. It feels like their is something wrong.. I feel so off the world Like everything is fake
    SamRosemary
Do you normally suffer with panic or anxiety? That sounds like derealization. Read up on it a little bit to understand what it is and why. It can help you deal.
    Juliane
    I feel the same way.
I really feel like I have cotton buds in my ears can it due to Eustachius or TMJ ?
    xLuchiaaa
Did it take long to become better ?

I think I can notice some difference first it was worser but still the feeling like I have cotton buds in my ears, Outside is the worst
    HearingHell
It didn't take very long for me, the fullness resolved after 2 weeks. But I've seen other people who said it took them 6-12 months for it to go away. Some people even said it took them over a year.

So while it can take a while, fullness does eventually get better for most people. It's just slower for some people than others. I'm hoping it will get better for you too.
    xLuchiaaa
The audiologist said also to me that if their was damage it would show up also on the test they did. I am trying to keep that in mind because sometimes it's making me very anxious
This week finally my second opinion by the ENT someone tips ?
    Marina Moon
ENTS are useless at treating TMD. Any ear issues (from TMD) are only a symptom of a bigger problem, which they are not specialized to treat.
I think someone mentioned someone who has 2 times a accoustic trauma and did manage to get it down again, I can't come on the name ?
For the people who are taking anti depression medication which is safe to use ? I really need something but for everything I am scared
    RunningMan
There's also anti-anxiety meds that some people take, such as benzos (best taken sparingly or avoided) or Buspirone (can cause tinnitus), Pregabalin/Lyrica, and Gabapentin. I've used Hydroxyzine, but it's an antihistimime that's more like a sleeping pill and hasn't worked that well for me.
    BrOKeN_1
@kingsfan I hope that works for you man. Unfortunately nothing cures the ringing which is the real culprit. But if you can at least suppress the desire to abandon hope then it's possible to manage this condition to a degree. As long as the ringing persists it will always take work and a strong will to survive.
    4Grace
I am so sorry you are having to deal with this. I tried Mirt. It helped. T was always there even when I felt better. At first it reduced my T a little. Then it went back to normal volume. Everyone is different. It could help you. You are the only one that can decide. I wish everyone better days.
A lot of pain and my neighbour having a party luckily not loud music but yelling and all the things I just want to sleep so badly now
Today going to the dentist, They maybe think my wishdom teeth also is giving some problems but they promised only to look
What the heck is happening, Having a weird feeling in my tooth and the feeling something is in my throat
Someone experiences with TTTS ? I was searching it because someone was saying the name and I searched on it and found similar things
    RunningMan
People generally say that stress and anxiety can affect TTTS. After months of this, I can't say it happens any more frequently to me when I'm feeling stress and anxiety. It became as issue for me only after my tinnitus level increased suddenly 20 months ago.
    RunningMan
I suspect cause for me was noise trauma while already having moderate hearing loss and tinnitus before that led to the louder tinnitus, mild to moderate hyperacusis, and occasional TTTS symptoms (left ear fluttering due to external sounds, right ear spontaneously thumps not triggered by external sounds).
    Tryn2BHopeful
They say stress can be a cause. I was dealing with a period of stress which led me to an anti-anxiety medication and then my problems started. So sorry you had to deal with someone stalking you.
I need to go for a x ray for my mouth by the dentist but it's making me so scared
Starting with iron because of a low ferrintin, Is it safe to use with T ? My Ferrintin was very low
    SarahMLFlemmer
    Yes, 13/16 symptoms.
    xLuchiaaa
You have also those diziness? I find it so worse, I saw that also T can be a symptom of low ferrintin, I hope you will feel soon better with the supplements❤️ I have the supplement now also but every met/supplement I think will it not give problems @SarahMLFlemmer
    SarahMLFlemmer
I had to dizziness, but not too much anymore. I am taking 125mg of iron a day. I hope it helps us too!
How can I stop looking for my T.. Everybody says stop monitoring it but I don't know how
