    BPC-157 Peptide for Treating Tinnitus

BPC-157 acts on many receptors in the brain and my visual snow became worse as soon as I used it. I didn’t experience anything negative from TB-500.

I Have 12 Months to Recover from Tinnitus: What Treatments Can I Try? Budget $450,000.

I was able to do this around 18 months consistently - particularly the music at louder volumes. Distortion is not really there but my reactivity to fans/showers is still really bad. If I take a “cheat day” by trying to sleep at night with masking, like white noise, I still get the same huge...

    BPC-157 Peptide for Treating Tinnitus

BPC-157 is really the only thing I would not do again if I had perfect knowledge. Like others have said, it seemed to permanently mess with my visual snow a bit, making it more of an every day impediment. It was very marked, literally an increase in visual snow in a stepwise fashion each period...

My hair is thinning a bit and I want to make a call while it’s in good shape. I know many people say Finasteride was a catalyst for their tinnitus starting, but I’m curious for people who had tinnitus already, whether they had a worsening on starting Finasteride, or having been on it for a long...

My Positive Experience with Lamotrigine — It Keeps My Tinnitus Under Control

It seems to have lowered my reactivity and volume level a bit, actually. Not sure if it would have occurred on its own but I am incrementally better. I can stay up later because the sound doesn't seem to ramp up as much in the later evenings, and it's a bit less intrusive in the day. DEFINITELY...

Tinnitus/Hyperacusis After Years of Loud Music — 3+ Months of Hell on Earth

Hearing different sounds and having actually more and less volumes at different times of day is not habituation. Habituation is conditioning yourself, or being conditioned, not to be bothered by the noise, but does not describe any actual change in the noise - when people say they barely hear...

Tinnitus Gone After Starting on Parkinson's Disease Medication!

I am still on it from two years ago. Seems to change the characteristics of my tinnitus a bit and is also a good antidepressant. Worth a shot. Google pramipexole tinnitus study, find one and take it with you to the doctor - they will probably be more likely to prescribe if you can show evidence...

I Invented a Sound That Knocked Out My Tinnitus

FWIW, I tried Tinnitus Mix again 2 years after my whole saga began - my reactivity is a bit better so figured why not try, lol. Tinnitus Control by Dopamine Agonist Pramipexole in Presbycusis Patients

Tinnitus Control by Dopamine Agonist Pramipexole in Presbycusis Patients

Keppra helped my reactivity but didn’t eliminate it. I think reactivity might be nerve related but I could be wrong. A lot of my tinnitus used to be accompanied by tangible nerve sensations so that’s why I thought that.

Guy Claims to Have Cured His Tinnitus with Pramipexole and Ketamine — Thoughts?

I am more functional. For me, anticonvulsants (Keppra, Lamictal), and stimulants (daily caffeine) also help reduce the noise and help compel me to work in spite of it. I am not truly at rest, or content, like I was before all of this, but I can more or less proceed with things. If I miss doses...

My reactivity is about the same at 16 months. It has had ups and downs but its not in a permanently better place. I have rarely left my house, so noise is not an issue. A remote job, delivery food and drugs, weights and a peloton are keeping my health okay-ish.
