I used to own a porn website and wanted to film pornographic material legally by establishing a company in Eastern Europe. I've discussed with many cam-girls, pornstars and prostitutes about why they do what they do. Many of the higher end ones do it for the money and because they choose to do it every day. They enjoy what they do, they enjoy making a few hundred dollars or even a few thousand per day for 1-4 hours of work, they like the lifestyle and wouldn't want normal jobs. It's bad for the brain, especially the developing one. Most of the women getting involved are being abused. It is pure trash. If you want to see a naked woman, go find one in real life. Porno takes advantage of very vulnerable aspects of the human mind and it should not be allowed to be a profit generator. It is selfish and fucks up families.
Thanks to pornography I understand what kind of sex interested me (hardcore and BDSM) and have found a partner that I've been able to introduce and she's very open to this world. Without it, I would probably be stuck having vanilla sex.
I think prostitution should be legal in all areas of the world and pornography too. It's too taboo currently in some areas of the world, and if it's regulated well like in Vegas or the Netherlands or Belgium it does well. There's thousands of russian, belarussian, ukrainian, polish, latvian, slovakian, slovenien, estonian, lithuanian, czech, hungarian and more women who are more than happy to relocate and work in the conditions that are presented to them.
Do I agree with some concepts of feminism? Sure. Do I think there should be stricter rules against abuse in the adult film world? Sure. But I think there should be more freedom with it in general. It's sick that men and women have to suffer and face even arrest for wanting to enjoy a natural human right. It's just business. If someone doesn't want to be in it, they have the choice. I realize there's a small portion of kidnapped girls, but porn isn't the only business with that. There's thousands of slaves working in factories in SE Asia or in the Middle East making goods for slave wages.
