2020 US Presidential Election

Whoa, I don't know, or even particularly want to know, the details of her sexual activities, but how did you find out exactly what Harris did, and the extent of her involvement with Willie Brown? Did she chronicle this in a book? The picture you paint, sounds even sleazier than I would have pictured it, and sounds kind of limited, to be rewarded with a BMW and government appointments. I would have given her enough credit, to imagine that she was at least in a love nest situation, with her political sugar daddy. Just curious.
I kinda just chose a random sexual act to make the point that it really doesn't matter. I have no idea what exactly she did but whether she sucked dick, rode dick, handled dick or anything else she did with his dick and for ever how long she did it with his dick, it's not nearly as sleazy as how politicians sell us out for money on a daily basis. She could suck 30 dicks and ride 30 more and it wouldn't be as gross as Mike Pence shilling and lying for big tobacco dick.

What did Pence say, that you construe to be "lying", in his exact words, if possible, please? From what I'm reading, he said that most people do not contract cancer, heart or lung disease, from smoking, which is true. He also said that smoking is not good for you, and urged people to quit. He compared the dangers of smoking to fatty foods, etc. He did not promote smoking tobacco.

From 'Smoking Doesn't Kill' to Conversion Therapy—Mike Pence's Most Controversial Science Remarks

The article and video do not contain any published newspaper, book or other reliable source, with regards to what Pence allegedly said about smoking not killing. Unless the origin of this claim is made available, I will have to conclude that there is no credible evidence to support the allegation that he said, "Smoking Doesn't Kill."
My bad.

https://www.indystar.com/story/news...donald-trump-coronavirus-response/4890066002/

Also, any comment on his condom denial?

Pence is not a smoker as far as I can tell, and has said that it is very dangerous. His "smoking doesn't kill", is confusing, as there is more to the quote in which he recommends not doing it. It is true that obesity and being overweight, kills six times as many, as smoking does.
Wow, Mike Pence also said "Frankly, condoms are a very, very poor protection against sexually transmitted diseases". No wonder people think he's anti-science.

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/coronavirus-mike-pence-health-science-smoking-hiv/
I agree with Pence that condoms are not as effective in prevention of sexually transmitted diseases, as abstinence from sexual intercourse, which is 100% effective.

He is not a doctor, so his opinions as to the degree of condom effectiveness, should not be taken as medical facts.

I'd like to approach what you refer to as the "Pocahontas" slur. This nickname was, according to Trump, not a slur against the legendary Indian maiden, the "Good Pocahontas", who was heroic and virtuous, but a reference to the "Bad Pocahontas", specifically Elizabeth Warren's long standing claim that she was an Indian, which she is not, for personal gain. This woman was responsible for impersonating an Indian, and illegally taking advantage of Affirmative Action quotas, which resulted in denying real Native Americans, opportunities for advancement. Shame on you, Elizabeth Warren.
The thing that gets me is that people actually believed here when she said that she is a Native American. It's like the two academics that have been found out to be as white as white can be but who have posed as being black. Why did people believe them? It's almost like their eyes and brain are having a disconnect.

I think it's definitely fair to say he downplayed the danger of smoking, which really should be condemned. He said it in his piece prior to explaining there shouldn't be government overreach to stop, which in some ways is fair but it's unfortunate before that he went out of his way to make smoking look less dangerous than it really is.

And he didn't just saw abstinence was more effective, he said condoms were "very, very ineffective" which is just a lie. It's a common lie also.

This country is going to need jobs, in the coming years, once the coronavirus is under control with a vaccine. This, to me, is much more important than anything. Trump proved, in the first 3 years of his presidency, that he can reduce unemployment and put people to work. You can say that this was due to Obama's previous efforts, but the bottom line is, we had the lowest unemployment in almost 50 years, in 2019. If people want to hand everything over to Kamala Harris and Joe Biden, that's fine with me, as I do not need help in this area, but I think it will be a huge mistake.

His constituency in Indiana was/is very religious and now he now has a much wider, similar, audience. Those who share his beliefs, expect to hear from this type of thing, regarding condoms, from him. We have 50 states, all different, and so are the people. I don't think that Pence is bad, just misinformed. I'd take him over Biden, as president. The pope is far worse than Pence, in most ways, yet the world loves him (pope), including non-Catholics. Go figure.

Not to point out the obvious but hundreds of thousands of dead Americans mean less consumers and that's very bad for the economy.

And no (mostly) closing the boarder to China but not using that borrowed time (since it was already here at that point) well is not great leadership.

Obama also proved this though. Obama took office when unemployment was at 10% and left office with it cut in half. It's not fair to compare Trump to Obama because Trump inherited a pretty good economy while Obama inherited the worst one in generations. And yet Obama was still able to pass a good economy onto Trump.

This is a graph of the unemployment in the US by year. It goes down at pretty much the same rate from 2010 to 2020. It kinda looks like the unemployment just continued to drop at the same rate it was under Obama when Trump got in.

https://tradingeconomics.com/united-states/unemployment-rate

And okay, so Pence pretty much lied because that's what his people wanted to hear? Or are you saying that he, a grown ass man and a governor of a state, was unaware that condoms have a good efficiency rate? Either way that's pretty damn sad.

We are lucky @Christiaan is from the Netherlands and most likely is in the Red Light District in Amsterdam as I type this.
You should go join him there. Seriously Columbo, might actually do you some good, you're puffing the wrong magic dragon!

And you can also count yourself lucky that I'm in Canada. Smoking gratuitous quantities of the devils lettuce and listening to blasphemous heavy metal from my igloo.
Dude it would be so fucking metal if this was real.

Perhaps the reason why America has so many deaths, is due in a large part to obesity, which affects 40% of the population over 20 years old, and other problems, which make us more susceptible to severe problems from COVID-19. Is this Trump's fault, as well?

From Livescience, Sept. 2020:

...the fact that those with comorbidities are likelier to die of COVID-19 is not exactly reassuring. A huge fraction of the U.S. population has conditions that increase COVID-19 severity, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, asthma and even obesity. According to the CDC, nearly 40% of all U.S. adults age 20 and older are obese. "Obviously a lot of people have one of these things, or one of the very large number of other things that would be included in that catch-all term," Hanage said. "And even if you don't have a comorbidity yourself, someone you love almost certainly does."

The prevalence of comorbidities is seen in the CDC update, which noted that of people who died of COVID-19 but also had other medical complications or underlying medical conditions, "there were 2.6 additional conditions or causes per death."

Not to point out the obvious but hundreds of thousands of dead Americans mean less consumers and that's very bad for the economy.
Not really. Most who died are retirees who are a net drain on resources. Look, I'm not saying that to say we shouldn't care about casualties by mentioning this--but rather than we should not take the bait and go down the bean-counter direction to justify saving lives. It should be a moral question, not an economic one.

he broke his campaign promise to resist war.
Nobody should ever promise not to have a war because war most often comes to you and you have no choice. The US was reluctant to enter both world wars as well--them being deemed "foreign" wars that didn't need to involve us. I studied the runup to war quite thoroughly in high school. I still remember being surprised to learn how long and drawn out the process was to try to appease the south and prevent war. Placing all the blame on Lincoln for something that had been percolating for many decades is ridiculous, but hey, that's what people do. People tend to latch onto all sorts of things in determining who they like and dislike. I really have very little respect for the way people manage their civic duty as voters. I think the democratic experiment is largely a failure because people can't really handle the responsibility. It should be a privilege earned rather than a right. Then maybe we wouldn't have been subjected to presidents like Trump (or GW Bush for that matter).

But anyway, what this dig against Lincoln really illustrates is that no public figure, NO public figure, EVER enjoys 100% support. You will always find people who hate figures that are held up as heroes and apologize for figures held up as villains. And in the internet age, any and all negativity is heavily amplified. I mean think about it. Think how much more attention you get for pissing on sacred cows rather than conforming to conventional views. I really do think a lot of this sort of rhetoric is indeed attention-whoring rather than reflective of any legitimate critical points to be made.

I don't disagree that it's a moral one but conservatives use the economy often as the only metric and even using *that* metric he is failing.

Comparing the obesity rate and COVID-19 death rate between the US and Canada disproves this.

Canada is larger in mass, with less than 11.5% of the population of the U.S... With such a far less dense population, close contact and spreading of this disease is far less likely. Theoretically, of course. So, I guess that contact is the main culprit for the U.S. having more deaths from Covid. The obesity doesn't help, either, according to what I've read.

Almost all of that population lives within 100 miles of the US border though and the rate is still lower in concentrated population areas, like the big cities.

Just to be clear, I wasn't in any way trying to disparage Lincoln.

That said, even if no one should guarantee America won't go to war, when we've been at war with a country for two decades and were involved militarily all over the world, a president should be able to dramatically reduce it. For example, there's no reason we should be involved in Yemen, yet Donald Trump vetoed a congressional resolution to get us out of Yemen. Donald Trump is a hawk.

That would explain a lot of posts here.

All of you should seek psychiatric help.

People are getting randomly shot in your country. Two cops were shot out in the open recently.

But, what are the liberals discussing here? Why Biden's VP nominee is justified sucking *****.

Un-freaking-real. This thread...

Police looking for gunman who shot moving patrol car 3 times

Los Angeles police officers shot in 'ambush'

Dallas police officer dies, two others in critical condition following shooting at Home Depot

Shooter who killed Maryland police officer previously ordered to turn in guns

Biden America Preview.

That's an extremely inaccurate portrayal what has taken place. No liberal brought up Kamala's sexual history. Find me a post where a liberal was like "let's talk about Kamala's sex life." No, in fact the left-leaners were only defending her after your buddy started calling her a whore -- attributing all of her accomplishments to sleeping around -- and refusing to address her by name ("that woman"). This is typical victim blaming. Only react to the defense, not the perpetrator. This is classical Trumpian victim-blaming mentality. Zero personal accountability.

As far as the links you shared,

The following is a quote from the first link: https://abcnews.go.com/US/police-gunman-shot-moving-patrol-car-times/story?id=73042356

Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden also condemned the ambush, saying, "This cold-blooded shooting is unconscionable and the perpetrator must be brought to justice."
The following is a quote from the second link: https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-54137838
His Democratic rival, Joe Biden, said he was praying the officers recover.

"This cold-blooded shooting is unconscionable and the perpetrator must be brought to justice," he tweeted. "Violence of any kind is wrong; those who commit it should be caught and punished."
For the remaining three links, they are from 2018 and beyond so clearly under Trump's watch. It's pretty ass backwards to blame a future Biden presidency on something that happened in 2016-2018 under Trump's watch.

Specifically, what part of Biden's plan is going to lead to more of these? Is he calling for a defunding of the police? Is there any evidence that Biden is anti-police? At worst, what will happen if Biden wins is more of the same relationship between civilians and police, but with a less incendiary leader, cooling things down a little.

Also, when you say this is a preview of Biden's America, you are implicitly insinuating that the alternative is better. Otherwise, you would have said "this is Trump's America."

Clyburn says Barr's remark comparing lockdowns to slavery is 'the most ridiculous, tone-deaf, God-awful thing I've ever heard'

Barr is correct. It's more than that though. It's slavery and control. It's a social experiment.

Never before have nations conspired together to control their populace. In France and Australia, for example, you are fined or jailed for not wearing masks. Cops might tackle you to the ground and arrest you.

It's sanctioned totalitarianism and the globalist marxists in the USA are using paranoia and fear to criticise Trump. Using fabrication, lies, smearing and fear, they are trying to intimidate Trump to implement more totalitarian intervention on the populace. Trump is part of the globalists too. Every time he seems to resist, he later caves. Appears to be all an act to me.

Biden is a stooge. Some people believe he's senile and has dementia. Or progressing towards that way. The Democrats support BLM and Antifa in helping finance them and donations go to them. Look up ActBlue.

They only offer some useless soft criticism and some Democrats have practically voiced support of the violence or sugar-coated it. The Democrats are on the side of the anti-White agenda. Wake up, man. Maybe you just don't care. Maybe there is a reason for that. I'm glad I am not there. It's bad enough here but the circus there is a different one.

P.S. I thought my point was pretty obvious. If this is happening in Trump's administration, a guy who is supposedly a White supremacist LMAO!!!, imagine an administration who doesn't care about this or is passive towards the victims, cops and whites! It will be a disaster.

I thought this was a possibility. That's why we must vote Trump. Can I count on your vote @FGG, @Zugzug, @aot?

Well, you're also more than welcome to join @Tweedleman. The women here just love the Canadians with their cute accent. That's why my oldest sister is married to one.

Yeah, I've heard you guys are pretty progressive. My Canadian brother-in-law is a real pothead and he once told me that Canada is just as laidback when it comes to soft drugs policy as the Netherlands. You're one lucky dude!

And @just1morething. Don't forget to bring your mojo ;)
