This would be considered as a tariff on the entity as a whole–triggering a unified response from the EU.

I doubt that anything drastic will happen.

Since the 19th century, there have been several attempts to have Greenland join the United States.

About two-thirds of Greenlanders support independence from Denmark. They will likely vote on the issue in the spring of 2025.

The United States can take Denmark's place. This would afford the citizens of Greenland tremendous opportunities, which they have never had before. American businesses could start making offers to spur interest.

I hope they join the US.

Guys, all this nonsense about Greenland, the Panama Canal, Canada (as the 51st) state, and the Gulf of America Mexico is simply a distraction by this cult leader.

He is just stirring up outrage, for the media to be fixated on, so he can hide the fact that he will not do anything to reduce grocery/gas prices to the way they were before, like he said he was going to do.

This will be the theme of this administration. Trump finding ways to grab national attention to feed into his narcissistic ego.

All talk and no real action to improve American lives, except for the rich and powerful.

The first Europeans to land on the mainland of North America were the Norwegian Viking and explorer Leif Eriksson and his party. Leif, one of Erik the Red's sons, had accompanied his father to Greenland.

Based on these historical facts, I believe both the United States and Greenland should recognize the significance of Norwegian heritage and its historical contributions.

However, invoking figures like Hitler or claiming superiority over others does not foster respect or meaningful dialogue. Instead, celebrating and sharing cultural achievements should inspire mutual understanding and appreciation rather than divisive rhetoric.

Respect is earned through humility, not by pointing fingers or asserting dominance.
