Chit Chat and All That...

That's in the County of Dalarna. Really beautiful place. I don't live there though.

Solution; A small plot of land and a manual push mower or a fully autonomous electric one. Screw the trees, they don't need any maintenance. ;)
The neighbours might have a afternoon hobby involving chainsaws...

Your apartment neighbors seems to have a hobby involving drilling in walls... :p
@Exit definitely needs to find another apartment complex. I've lived in multiple apartment complexes over the years and I don't hear drilling even every year. And when I rarely do, it's someone putting in two screws for a painting.

What the hell kind of apartment Exit do you live in? Your neighbors' walls must be drilled very thoroughly by now :D

Don't even ask me about Romania now. I'm too angry.

Yeah, I know... It's all fun and games until someone buys a plane ticket!
Honey bunny does that kind of thing happen to you on a regular basis? :)

This reminds me of story.

A friend of mine had a female friend who was flirting and joking around with him. She went home on Xmas holiday or something and he was seriously contemplating buying a ticket to her parents' home, a little village 5 hours' drive away from an airport, in Slovakia :D

He was a cheap bastard so I think that was what stopped him.

He was convinced she would welcome him with open arms :)

When she got home he kept flirting with her and she actually took him to side and told him to stop! :D

She was angry a year or so before warming up again towards being friends with him :D

So did they get it on like Donkey Kong?

So did they get it on like Donkey Kong?
Nope, no happy ending :D

She was young and wild, he was an old dirty pig saving all his sugar on his bank account :)

Well she actually pulled her shit together starting to study :)

Even stopped smoking but not the drinking :D

That poor Rob guy is going to get roughed up! :cool:
I just found an old photo of Rob and me. I even have a photo of me prancing around the stage where Edith Piaf once preformed.

Btw, I love how the situation progressively escalates from photo to photo, whether intentional or unintentional. Laughed so hard I that spiked, like usual. :LOL:
I'll admit, I did do this on purpose, to give my point some added weight.

Will probably receive a lawsuit from the Albanian tourist board in the next couple of days.

They can bring it. I'm English, mate; I've got flares up the wazoo!

Hahahaaa when I watched the pictures I was not sure if it was Albania or a bunch of hooligans from the UK, but then I saw the flag haha.

Actually a Bulgarian friend of mine said "Albania is run by the mafia" :ROFL:

Anyway it is a country I have been wanting to visit for a long time, despite very poor air connections...
@Juan, I'm telling you, the English football hooligans thing is a relic of the past. These poor European countries like Albania and Ukraine are f*cking mental by comparison.

No one turns up at their football games to watch football; they just kill each other, and sometimes the referee

instead.

That said, in general, I think Albania is probably quite safe and hospitable to tourists, seeing as most of their criminals are over here in the UK now anyway...

It's also very cheap as a holiday destination.

My opinion if you're visiting, is to go to one of it's beaches, those admittedly look quiet and very beautiful.

Ah, it must be from the movie "A man called Ove". Love that scene. :LOL:

If anything used to split the Swedish people, it was whether to drive a SAAB or Volvo. My grandfather wanted to provoke his SAAB-driving relatives by buying a Volvo in his time. ;)
That's the film! It is a fantastic film!

Could you recommend more Swedish films? (English titles please, so that I can look for them) :)

So Friday night and I'm the only one left here, huh...? :( Just kidding, I know some of you miserable creatures are here all too much like I am.

Another day with no content other than Netflix here. Had a late dinner with mum and now a break in my car in case there's vorspiel under my apartment. No use going home just to walk around half an hour with earmuffs to wait and see if they leave... :(

The first 5 years in my apartment they were drilling only one week. A guy 3 floors down chiselled away a bathroom, still loud enough to not being able to have a conversation inside my apartment.

Half a year after my ear damage all hell broke loose... The last 13 months I've lived home for about 7 months...

Lovely...

Been thinking today when it was quiet and boring. It's no life at all. I'll have to go back to my part time job if I am to stay in my country. This means I must have a house for myself in normal car commute time.

So that leaves me with no choice other than keeping my apartment for now.

If I can't find a hot girl with a place to crash before November, I'll probably go to the family cabin for a year or so...

Not getting any COVID-19 there at least.

Last option is leaving for Spain! :) Since @aura wasn't too thrilled about me moving in next door :D

I don't know if I'm qualified to give suggestions since I've rarely watched films, but I have a few silly suggestions;
  • Vi hade i alla fall tur med vädret ("We were at least lucky with the weather") - 1980
  • Vi hade i alla fall tur med vädret - igen ("We were at least lucky with the weather - again") - 2008
  • Varning för Jönssonligan ("Beware of the Johnsson Gang") - 1981
I guess also some of the movies created by Lasse Åberg, like;
  • Sällskapsresan ("The Charter Trip") - 1980
  • Sällskapsresan 2 ("The Conducted Tour 2") - 1985
  • Den ofrivillige golfaren ("The Involuntary Golfer") - 1991
If any other Swede has suggestions, do share. These older comedy titles are very well known in Sweden. Could most likely be classified as cultural heritage by now. You may have to search on the Swedish name to find them, because I'm unsure how known they are outside of Sweden.

Have a great weekend,
Stacken

A roadtrip through Sweden would be nice. I hope to do that before I die. To also like, see this with my own eyes;

@Exit's Norway is extremely beautiful too though.
That's very impressive! Now I want to go there too! Maybe in summertime, to escape from blazing hot weather in Spain... Is there a quota to access to nature parks in Sweden? I mean, is there over-demand like in the US?

The northern part of Sweden is very beautiful. I did go on a trip about a decade ago as a child. It's just totally different from the southern parts, although the archipelago and beech tree woods are quite nice here too.

And to answer your question, no, I don't think there's any quota. You're kinda free to roam as you wish. If you intend to explore Sweden, the Swedish Tourist Association got you covered with a bunch of information and hostels. Here's some information about the national park I posted about;
