Chit Chat and All That...

I don't know if I'm qualified to give suggestions since I've rarely watched films, but I have a few silly suggestions;
  • Vi hade i alla fall tur med vädret ("We were at least lucky with the weather") - 1980
  • Vi hade i alla fall tur med vädret - igen ("We were at least lucky with the weather - again") - 2008
  • Varning för Jönssonligan ("Beware of the Johnsson Gang") - 1981
I guess also some of the movies created by Lasse Åberg, like;
  • Sällskapsresan ("The Charter Trip") - 1980
  • Sällskapsresan 2 ("The Conducted Tour 2") - 1985
  • Den ofrivillige golfaren ("The Involuntary Golfer") - 1991
If any other Swede has suggestions, do share. These older comedy titles are very well known in Sweden. Could most likely be classified as cultural heritage by now. You may have to search on the Swedish name to find them, because I'm unsure how known they are outside of Sweden.

Have a great weekend,
Stacken
I've always been impressed with those crazy Swedes!

Beautiful women!

Great cars and even made fighter jets!

Lots of good movies all of them with a funny aspect. Except those well made crime series!

All of this shit without any oil money!

This is why we hate you so much! :D

How about Snabba Cash and that police parody movie 20 years ago? Was kinda cool too?

I don't know the name of police parody but it was a small town and some really lame police officers :D

All in that funky language :D

@Juan, if you visit our countries, remember hunting season starts in September!

Netflix got some new Swedish crime shows that's well enough made and lets you see bits of Swedish towns and villages from this decade.

I also like the first years of "Beck", similar to those old German police commissioner series.

How tall are you if you don't mind me asking?
@aura, look what you've done. We've got random tinnitus sufferers joining up now, just to know your height.

So are you going to give them some sweet sweet relief, or am I going to have to set up a poll on Tinnitus Talk so we can start taking bets?

Worst case scenario: we'll have to get @Zugzug or @buttercake in here to measure the door to @aura ratio, and draw up an estimate.

Damn it, she took away our fun!

We can however do the same with her weight :D

Lets throw in @Steph1710 too :) She's a little obsessed with her weight gain these days :D

Okay, cancelling that poll.

Or am I... :cautious:

I'd like to hear from the door on this. We haven't heard the door's side of the story.
I know my life is fucked, but I'm still astounded everyday by all the other miserable buggers hanging around here :D

The northern part of Sweden is very beautiful. I did go on a trip about a decade ago as a child. It's just totally different from the southern parts, although the archipelago and beech tree woods are quite nice here too.
I have only been to Stockholm and, very briefly, to Malmo, a long time ago...

WTH I'm the only woodpecker left in here!!???? I thought you guys too were supposed to miserable and isolated without a life!!! Well I'm sorry I'll just have to take over in here and claim myself as the one having it the worst!!!

Assholes...! :(

So while I'm here talking to myself I can make it a little bit more interesting...

I met a man 2 days ago. While walking around alone in the rain I saw a tent middle of day middle of week. I was of course annoyed thinking some kids having sex and going to come out start knocking things or scream...

Instead out came a facility worker around 60 years of age. I said hello, worried about him banging stuff. Instead he asked me if the construction a little further up would use explosives.

Turns out he's on his second bout of tinnitus and also this time got hyperacusis. A pipe made a loud bang at work 3 months ago. Last 3 weeks he had experienced big improvements in hyperacusis and his tinnitus also calmed down a lot.

He also told me about fireworks inside a big party hall when he was 20 years old. His ear drum ruptured back then. Felt like under water for a long time but no tinnitus. It healed in a year or less he told me.

Talk about a lucky duck :)

Dude, this is awesome.

I've got to get myself a PC and some editing software.

What did you use? Adobe?
Haha, I do have Adobe Photoshop, but I actually used the free software Paint.NET. It's a neat little photo editor with an alright toolbox of image manipulation features. ;)

I think I already mentioned this @Stacken77, but I used to do traditional art: Life drawing, Abstract and Illustration with Charcoal and Pencils.

Never learnt digital art, which I regret; so I'd like to learn that in the near future, but need to get a proper PC (current laptop would be next to useless) and a drawing tablet.

All of that is going to cost a bit, so might be a while before I can start creating some professional stuff.

That sounds wonderful!

Getting a good PC sounds like a plan. I could recommend to custom build it since it gets cheaper that way. The problem right now is the semi-conductor shortage that has really deprived the world of graphics cards and driven up said prices.

Absolutely @Stacken77. I've been thinking about it for a while and I'm thinking to get a PC built for me by this company in England: Quiet PC | Custom Built PC Specialist | Buy a PC

They specialise in fanless/passively cooled PCs. Is this what you have? Or do yours have fans? Also, if they do have fans, do you find that they remain inactive most of the time?

Okay, I didn't know about this. So maybe best to wait a while for getting this PC then? Wait until the demand has deflated, and the prices have come down somewhat.

A roadtrip through Sweden would be nice. I hope to do that before I die. To also like, see this with my own eyes;

@Exit's Norway is extremely beautiful too though.
@Stacken77, I promise, if a real treatment ever comes to exist for our condition -even if it's just a drug or device that prevents it from getting worse- I will join you, and whoever else you'd like to invite, for that road-trip.

What I wouldn't do for those extra 4 inches. I am such a short arse.
So that Rob guy next to you isn't that tall after all? Guess all he needs is great contrast :D

I remember chatting up a girl once. Very cute, sitting behind a bar table. Then I asked for a dance and she smiled okay and jumped DOWN from the sofa :D

I had had relationships with girls 160cm and she felt a lot shorter than that. When I think about it I took a date to that same sofa and she was a short arse as well! But even she didn't have to climb the sofa!

Wonder what height she could have been... I regret not researching that chick some more. I'm ashamed to say her height was a little disturbing. Well she's at least way better off without me :p
