Chit Chat and All That...

[QUOTE="emmalee, post: 483443, member: 31409] You mentioned meditation, and how someone had rated it as funny, which I detest for so many reasons, but that is a conversation for a whole other thread, which I won't be starting any time soon. I always say that we should read with the intent to understand not the intent to reply, at least not until we understand.

@emmalee
You have got a big heart Emma :huganimation:and have to be one of the least judgmental people on here.

It's really good Emma, think it was shot in Canada as well? That's so true, I'll take any laughter were I can find it and luckily enough the stupidest things make me laugh ;)
Wow! Who knew, Jcb? The show is almost completely Canadian, as in the actors/actressess, Country of Origin, etc. EugeneLevy and Catherine O'Hara are both super funny folks! No wonder you have gotten some good laughs.

"Good friends help you to find important things when you have lost them. Your smile, your hope, and your courage." ~

You are the best, Jcb, thank-you for such a lovely compliment. ❤️

They are bonkers in it, basically it's about a rich family who are all pretty much self involved and they lose all their money but then find out they own this town called Schitts Creek. Kind of a backwater type of town and it's a culture shock haha. Catherine O'Hara is so funny and her accent is crazy. Eugene is clueless but so funny and the brother and sister are great as well.

Yes, they drink for pain management ;) small amounts. Honestly I used to work with them, they are so funny jcb they always call on me for help when they need impact!!! I could tell you some funny stories that is for sure.

My friends have me helping out and attending a special mass next friday for the ill, that should keep me out of trouble, well, at least for half the day :)

I am doing very well, Star, thank-you. Of course, I hope the same for you, too.:huganimation:

Star, I read a post of yours, just cannot remember which thread it was posted on, lol. :wacky: It definitely had something to do with sleep.(y)

Dave, @Jazzer, has a thread about meditation. I am sure he won't mind me linking it, here. Meditation works for me, and many others. It is not a cure for tinnitus, it is a coping mechanism and a damned good one at that. I meditate while doing my yoga, without fail, every night before bed. No sleeping aids are required. Not every night is a dreamland state, but meditation is an absolute help.

Dave's advice on the soft jaw technique is quite helpful, I still use this due to my TMJ and teeth grinding.
Thanks for the link emmalee, yes I find meditation helpful for me, but like you said it does not take away the tinnitus. I also do Yoga and walk 5 kms everyday. I sometimes do short sprints but lately a fast walk is all I can manage. The weather is heating up here, but one day it is 38c the next 18c, I wish it would stay somewhere in between.

Haha I have no doubt you have some extremely interesting stories :LOL: those pesky nuns haha

That's very kind of you, you are also one of the nicest members on here Star, always willing to give advice to people even when you are in your own hell, I really appreciate that about you.
Also I can imagine you keeping everybody on their toes as well :LOL::LOL:

How is everyone? I see @Jcb is still as awesome as ever :sneaky:

Has the cure been found down the back of anyone's sofa yet?

Eh up mate, how are things?

Nah the only thing I find down my settee is what's left of my self respect and sanity ha

:ROFL::LOL:

I'm sure in the coming years you'll rise once more like a Phoenix from the flames, Jcb. In fact, I reckon the version 2.0 of you will make your former self look like Edward Scissorhands.

You still have your humour which shows a lot of strength. Chin up mate.

:rockingbanana:

It's wet and miserable here in the UK, I know shocking right. Have to take my pooch for a walk but it's an effort to try and get his jacket on, plus side is though it's a good cardio workout as I'm sweating by the time I manage to put the thing on him.

You are welcome, Star. :welcomesignanimation:

Staying as active as possible is what I try to do, too. Walking each day is great, I do the same, it really helps me to get a decent nights sleep.

I hope you are having better days. :huganimation:
