Chit Chat and All That...

You should share your before and after pic in our Photo Album and let us be the judge of that... haha.
Just saying, all to gain.
I would but I honestly can't. Long story.

I would love to meet some of you fine people in the future though. Let's hope some of these treatments under trial make it to the market... I will be coming to the US like a shot if they do!

So, where can I find a barber with 6ft long arms so that I can maintain social distancing and still get a haircut?...:dunno:

I'm gonna look like a hippie before I can finally get one!....:D

@all to gain I love MASH too! I own the entire series on DVD. All thanks to my older friends! My dad was apparently in to it, but never told me. So the reruns are finally on or local station and I told him I have the whole series on DVD he's so happy.

@aot My dad only had two personalities. Moderately quite, and loud angry. Even his looks. My friends would always ask me if everything was okay if he ever dropped me off. With parkinson it's even worse. He's so quiet I can barely hear him. Then boom loud!!! People always think he's angry. My poor niece and nephew get a little scared.

And thank you. She was actually the deciding factor in helping me to love reading. And when I almost quit she was the one that told me it was because I needed women authors and pointed me in the right direction. She was awesome when I got T too.

@jimH Actually it's not too hard to cut your own hair. Especially if your a guy and have short hair. I've cut my own hair since I was 15. Only had one major disaster. (Never cut your hair if you don't feel like it.) You can even watch some online tutorials.

@OnceUponaTime :ROFL:

You know, people joke about Covid-19 causing a zombie apocalypse, which is utterly ridiculous...

The virus comes from bats, meaning that it'll be a vampire apocalypse. Duh.

@OnceUponaTime & @Shera

You two Gems are really helping to keep my sprits up during this difficult time! If only @emmalee was still with us...

I do hope that She, @Jcb & @Labyrinthine will return in the near future!
Aww gee... glad we can help a little. Yesterday was a pretty crazy, busy day for me but today is calm so I can share a few jokes and chit chat a little. haha

I know. Hope they are well.

ATG, we are all in quarantine!!! Long stories are welcome!! bahahaha :LOL:
Hey, where are you? I thought you were in USA. :wideyed:
I hope they do. Although with this whole corona virus thing I'm afraid things will get "delayed." sigh.:meh:

@OnceUponaTime I did take pictures cause after the initial shock I laughed my ass off. Though I never upload pictures of myself. *shrugs*

@jimH Ah, thanks. Yeah, it's been quieter around here without them.

@aot Ha-ha! I love it! Vampire apocalypse!!! :ROFL:

People now a days are having children at a much older age.
Is he a strong 80 yo? My dad is 82 and strong like a bull! I won't say my age though. You guys will have to guess...:LOL::LOL::LOL:

He had a cancer scare last year. Aggressive prostate cancer. Then the scare of a relapse. But he got through all of that, and he's going strong. I'm not allowed to see him right now, though, because he fears the corona virus. I'm well with no symtpoms, but he doesnt want to take any chances. I know a lot of people don't make it to 80 so I'm lucky to have him I guess. We have a bit of a ritual around the football world/euro championships, so I'm a little bummed that it was postponed for 2021.

Looks like the snow has hit here. It's gonna be off and on all night. :meh: I'm so over winter and snow.
I hope baby mountain lion is okay! :eek:

I'm on my end, I just bought the full series of The Last Airbender on DVD, having not seen it since it was originally running. Not only does this DVD boxset not have closed captions, (I don't need them, I just like them.) each disc forces to watch one episode after another (complete with each episodes opening and ending credits) as opposed to an episode select screen. Wtf.

My wife started cutting my hair as I became a home person long before the virus. Going to the doctors is a major ordeal. She does a fine job and has kept me from being in a nursing home. A beautiful caring person she is.

@aot Yeah, I own the DVDs. The first two books are really well done. CC and chapter selection breaks so you can skip the intro. Then boom. After that they went cheap. My Legend of Kora boxset is the same way. -_-

We believe the mountain lion made it up safely. The stupid neighbor's hunting dogs were more interested in terrorizing my chickens. :mad:

@all to gain Right! I was just watering my tulip bulbs. Planning my attack on the early weeds. Going over my plan to thatch the lawn and planning my watering system for my new flower bed. Boom! Snow. :bawling: Oh, well. AT least I didn't jump the gun. The chicken waters are all still ready for another freeze. :)

@Greg Sacramento Ah, that's great!

Maybe show us in the Photo Album Thread? ;)

Also, all you guys should send me snow. Would appreciate it very much. :p

This lamp I made the base is part of an old tree root, the lamp shade is oval I made from old pallet wood. Project took 3 months to complete.
