Another success story today, she is using her hearing aids less and less than before Tinnitus Mix, if this reverses deafness that could be a major breakthrough! That is awesome man!!

YES IT IS a masker. How stupid do you think we are? There is a special place in hell for people like you!No it's not a masker, not white noise, not anything you have heard of before.
I will get some since you are so adamant.John I will buy you a set of Koss KTX-PRO1 if you will try them, I know you have high quality headphones but many report Tinnitus Mix works much faster with the Koss.
I had that same thought.First of all, thanks @R. David Case for making this sound!
4 nights in. Unfortunately my tinnitus hasn't changed - if anything it has gotten somewhat worse. My tinnitus is very high pitched - maybe that has to do with it. I can sometimes even hear my tinnitus on the higher frequency while listening to the Tinnitus Mix.
I'm wondering whether super high pitched tinnitus requires a sound that has more high frequencies in it.
Calm down. Take some deep breaths. Try and forgive your mother for what she has done to you.YES IT IS a masker. How stupid do you think we are? There is a special place in hell for people like you!
I am too having hearing improvement. I've actually been listening to music and greatly enjoying it.I wasn't expecting the hearing to improve like that...
This is free. He isn't trying to scam you or sell you something.YES IT IS a masker. How stupid do you think we are? There is a special place in hell for people like you!
What level has your tinnitus been at?So far so good today.
~0/10What level has your tinnitus been at?
I understand that Mr. Case has had experience with the Tinnitus Mix for almost 2 decades. With all due respect, I feel this advice is too generic. This is probably fine if you don't have hyperacusis. I had severe hyperacusis and reactivity when I tried Tinnitus Mix, both of which were worse to synthetic (meaning sounds from speakers or headphones) and even just a few minutes of 30 percent of volume would have probably done damage to my ears.On a scale of 1 to 10 you should start on a 2 or 3 volume level.
You weren't the one who essentially trapped me in a loud MRI, so I am happy with you volunteering to help everyone, whether I am personally helped or not.Yes Tinnitus Mix works for 50% of those that follow instructions, that means 50% of the people love me and the other 50% are not happy, I'm sorry you are not having results yet, how long have you had tinnitus? What device are you playing it on? It can take some people longer for results.
Yeah. Also take some curcumin or turmeric at night. Those who have read the thread in its entirety know that I tried this therapy (with the correct headphones) in early January this year. So almost a year has passed and I'm glad this thread has been gaining traction again, I feel this is one of the best things out there for tinnitus. Unfortunately I had to quit the therapy because of side effects (I was probably the only person out of hundreds who got any side effects, besides increase in tinnitus obviously). One can read about it here:

My suggestion is, especially if you have hyperacusis or even if you don't, why not start as low as possible, for short durations during the day and work your way up. From my experience and from what I understand, there's no downside to starting this low. I luckily was wise enough to do this from the start, I literally probably started with 1 percent and moved up to like 4 percent of full volume (my phone might have been higher volume by default too, I can easily make out words at 2 percent and I have an app for setting the volume very precisely).
I will repeat, my hyperacusis and reactivity used to be very severe and it's also important to bear in mind that they're much worse to synthetic sounds. Most people can probably go higher and even skip this step if they don't have hyperacusis. My main point is, there's no real downside to being extra careful. Obviously this is not some magic sound that doesn't damage the ears at any volume that you can try to listen to it no matter how loud and some people have a very low threshold for getting further damage. Also, different devices have different volumes for same percentages. Be careful folks.
I'm contemplating taking a shot at this again, I still have my Koss headphones and my situation is much, much better than it used to be a year ago thanks to other alternative therapies I'm doing and I think the side-effects I got might have had something to do with a Magnesium deficiency. I probably won't but it's something that's on my mind.
Not an option for me unfortunately. I tried curcumin several years ago and when I got my spike from hell in 2018 I tried turmeric. They both flare up my psoriasis really bad, weird because they're supposed to help it. The few doses I took seemed to actually help tinnitus but like it usually is with me, I can't tolerate the side effects of a supplement that helps me a lot. Also take some curcumin or turmeric at night.
He has recommended the Sony voice recorder so that you can boost the high frequencies as needed via the EQ. I'm thinking about getting one.I had that same thought.

Why couldn't you enjoy music before? What it distorted or muffled or did the tinnitus interfere?I am too having hearing improvement. I've actually been listening to music and greatly enjoying it.
High pitch tinnitus noise made it suck. It rode on top of everything. It wasn't very loud it was just there.tinnitus interfere?
Ah ok. So do the people reporting hearing improvements with this mean they can just hear better without the tinnitus masking it or are there other, separate improvements?High pitch tinnitus noise made it suck. It rode on top of everything. It wasn't very loud it was just there.
I think that is the case for me. Like the tinnitus is out of the way.Ah ok. So do the people reporting hearing improvements with this mean they can just hear better without the tinnitus masking it or are there other, separate improvements?
I put a link in my post. It was a side effect rather than effects. What were your side effects if you don't mind me asking?
Lots of stuff worked well but I couldn't tolerate the side effects. Tried about 15+ things, not gimmicky things like Tonaki Tinnitus Protocol I mean stuff that's reasonable like oxygen therapy, Nicotinamide Riboside, NAC, etc (all worked well, couldn't tolerate the side effects). What therapies worked for you?
Are you planning on trying Lenire?I've had good days off and on since I started improving earlier this year, but this feels like the greatest day of my life so far.
I have only used the sound treatment for (1) night and so far no improvement. I hope that time will deliver the good results the other folks are getting.Yes I have helped hundreds around the world stop the torture, many had no money because the tinnitus destroyed their lives, I hope it helps you like them. I also hope to increase the 50% success rate of Tinnitus Mix to 90 or 100% with feed back from members here on Tinnitus Talk.

I'm so glad for you, John. I'm very moved by this.I am too having hearing improvement. I've actually been listening to music and greatly enjoying it.
Yeah it's good. My next step is to do this therapy as long as possible while continuing to take turmeric, glutathione, and NAC supplements. Then I am going to slowly experiment coming off them and the Tinnitus Mix one by one and see if I am healed or if I am just suppressing the tinnitus.I'm so glad for you, John. I'm very moved by this.
