even if you find the exact two molocules within the lining of the intestines and make them into a slow moving gel, how are you going to get the drug inside your inner ear?

Where did you see that it is 2 molecules? Everything ive found thus far seems to indicate that it is ly411575.

Looks like there are some labs that will sell ly411575 to whomever. Seems like it has some unknown side effects though. They've been using these types of chemicals to test treatments for alzheimers disease as well. Id think that if a person is so desperate to get relief from T that they are willing to hurt themselves that they could get this stuff, some medical gel, and some antibiotics, go to the ent and say they have glue ear, get tubes put in and self administer this directly into their ears. All the papers ive read make it out like that ly411575 protease is the active component in this process.

There it is DIY fx322. Crazy or not, there it is.

Just found they were discussing this 4 years ago on this site.

Seems easy enough. This is driving me friggin nuts knowing I can get the drug myself, and a syringe. Theres probably 10-20 men in my city that are doctors that could easily do this and I could be cured in a few days. The gatekeepers at the FDA are the ones stopping this from happening now.

I don't want to sound incorrect anymore, what i mentioned about painful hyperacusis being caused by outer hair cell nerve fibers damage triggering cochlear pain activators is still a hypothesis. It's definitely what causes cochlear pain to activation to overly loud 120db noise, and with the benefit of the doubt I really do believe it has something to do with painful hyperacusis, but its probably the case where there are more aspects at play that aren't understood, maybe a missing neurological element?, we don't know.

i just wish there was a more complete working model of hearing loss tinnitus and hyperacusis and all sorts of other neurological phantom conditions with organized classification and explained in detail instead of pieces of the puzzle scattered. Where as 20 years ago the pieces of the puzzle were no existent.

One day all this stuff is going to be classified and it's going to be a vast amount of knowledge that can be explained rather simple. I just hope that day comes sooner then later
it is very likely painful hyperacusis has something to do with OHC's triggering hidden pain receptors but the exact reason why or if more factors are at play are open to serious debate for qualified researchers. Maybe the type II afferent nerve fibers themselves have been damaged and if that is the case there is no hope of treatment anytime soon, but i hope it's outer hair cells and repairing the OHC's fixes the problem. I am only speculating when I say regenerating OHC's will help hyperacusis, it could in hypothesis but I can't play pretend and act like hair cell regeneration will solve everything. I have to wait and observe trials and hope researchers test more.

mentally ill people on the internet ask important questions with no answers. normies don't care

one of the few hyperacusis research papers in existence

If I may...MPP and TT friends...
The hoping/waiting game is becoming very tiring.
I've become but a hollow shell of my former musical, energetic self. I believe he (me) is still there deep down in my soul, but he's hidden way away.
I don't know how much longer.
Please tell me you understand how I feel.

I feel myself becoming a different person too. Maybe we will get some good news soon from the trials. Just hang in there brother. Weird thing is ive been able to write better music since ive had T. Dont know why.

im looking back and in 2011 2014 it was common to see someone ocasionally discuss homeopathy on this forum

homeopathy praise is allowed in success stories

this is the end of the war my friend, you don't want to miss it

I hope it isn't upwards of $100k.
Me too, but thankfully I doubt it will. Tinnitus isn't deadly so companies might be enticed to make it cheaper to get the more mild sufferers to buy it.

For once the mild sufferers are being useful and not shooting us in the foot. About time tbh.

Could they go thru the roof of your mouth to reach either brain or ear to insert meds or small laser. Just my crazy thought, did you ever have MRI to the back of head to see brain better.

that's not a scam, but a bit misleeading, it's exploiting the vagus nerve for 10 seconds of relief max
