Wondering What We All Do for Our Work/Job/Living

Hi, I'm new here so I would like to chime in as well.
My job is pretty dull compared to most of you professional folks.
I live in Queensland Australia, and I am a postman. We deliver on motorcycles here. I have been doing it for about 22 years now.
That is me with my wife in the avatar.
By the way Cher69, is that you in the avatar?

Just curious, as other people have different ones to themselves.
I think it is nice to put a face to the posts people make, it has a far greater positive impact to their posts in my opinion. However I'm not judging others for not doing so.
Btw I thought your haircut was pretty cool.

Working the mines in Australia for another 3 months - than maybe offshore in europe for a while but really hoping to become Yoga teacher, musician ... x

I'm a supervisor in a government office. It's mindless, soul crushing work but pays well and excellent benefits so I stay.
I'm also a nurse on the side "for fun" because I'm crazy like that...

I though id replied here but looks like I haven't so will now...

I'm a stay at home mum to my 2 gorgeous children - a smart cookie of a daughter and a mischievous little boy.

In a previous life I worked in HR and Mining admin

You all seem to have amazing careers in very interesting fields. Maybe only talented people are affected with T:D Since one of my worries is how I am going to have a career and family with T it is consoling to see you all being successful. I myself am currently a theology student in the Uni of Tartu hoping to become a prison chaplain one day.

Yea that is what I worry about too, I am pretty young and don't even have a job yet. I don't know exactly what I'm going to do but I have a few ideas on what I would like to do.

Yeah in your case it is really stupid. Cant believe they cant cure T that results from an earinfection!!! Shouldnt be so difficult. Chances are though that your nerves havent really been damaged:)) Choose smth with low noise levels:D

I still don't know if it was just because of the ear infection but it had a part in it. I used to use my headset and watch videos online and play games and I think the volume was a little loud. Also I didn't know I had a ear infection right away do it got worse before I started to treat it. But I will definitely choose a job with low noise levels!

well the best we can do is simply not listen to loud music, not go to concerts, clubs, go to bars only occasionally:) In this way we could probably prolong further hearing loss.
