And the inside is beautiful as well! It's essentially the hardcover colored editions formatted into three paperbacks. I love it to death and it looks great on my shelf.Fangirling!!! So pretty!

She's beautiful, Orion.Since we are sharing pictures of animals here thought I'd share mine My lady who passed away last spring after bringing us 16 years of joy and cuddles.

I know that feeling. The fair is in a week, and I can't go because of this awful thing.Remembered this scene from Spongebob and this is exactly what it feels like having hyperacusis/tinnitus Squidward vibes.

Feel better soon, Lab. Sending you a warm hug until you come back again.Be back with more animal pictures later. Taking a break from Ttalk. Going through a really really rough patch. Take care everyone!
Good for you! Let's see pictures of the inside!!!Bought the Scott Pilgrim boxset yesterday. Had my eyes on it for months and I was finally able to afford it.

I've missed on a lot of things since tinnitus started, AOT.I know that feeling. The fair is in a week, and I can't go because of this awful thing.
Hopefully things will be better someday.
John.Hey, what is everyone's real name, if I may ask??
My Cat Minnie Mouse likes to snuggle with me every night! And I can confirm that Castlevania season 3 is amazing.Ah, that is everything. I miss those sweet little kitten snuggle days. I actually dreamt of getting another cat! A bangle! Though even in my dream I was like "no this needs to stop now!" Ha-ha! Plus, my other cats are just balancing out.
Of course! (Forwarned, I'm bad at taking pictures.)Good for you! Let's see pictures of the inside!!!

Scott Pilgrim is probably one of the most creative comics of the last decade. A mixture of a Slice Of Life drama and sheer absurd crazy. I love it. (The film adapation directed by Edgar Wright is also great.)
I also read that as well. Maybe he has a really mild form of hyperacusis or tinnitus. This is super random but I've recently read that Justin Bieber has been reported to have Lyme which is often accompanied by Hyperacusis and Tinnitus. With him being in the music industry since probably around 2009 or so, I wonder if he will also develop this condition. Perhaps he's also on this forum and we don't even know it lol
That'd be interesting! A few people in the entertainment industry have tinnitus, but most of them don't really talk about it for whatever reason. The one who's done the most as far as I can tell is William Shatner (caused by an explosion on the set of the original Star Trek, Leonard Nimoy also allegedly had tinnitus from the same incident). This is super random but I've recently read that Justin Bieber has been reported to have Lyme which is often accompanied by Hyperacusis and Tinnitus. Oh yeah I've seen the picture lol. I'm sure he has custom plugs or something.I also read that as well. Maybe he has a really mild form of hyperacusis or tinnitus.
He did wear earplugs one time but not properly.

Even then the most he's done is discuss it in a few interviews and a video to promote the ATA.
If Bieber actually has tinnitus and hyperacusis, it'd be great if he could raise some awareness and donate to some research. It'd almost be enough to forgive that crappy music.
Almost.
I got a feeling it's more contract/industry regulations. It's bloody criminal how they do not promote about hearing damage and they should advise their fans to wear earplugs at concerts.Oh yeah that would me amazing!
Louis Tomlinson has tinnitus and is slightly deaf in one ear. Zedd lost hearing in one ear suddenly in 2014. They haven't really been super outspoken about it though.
There's one DJ - Excision, who has had tinnitus since he was a kid. He puts on a music festival called Lost Lands yearly and actually sends out ear plugs for everyone to use which is awesome. He's pretty vocal about hearing protection on Twitter.
Steve Aoki has it - just found this thread.

I'm not sure if these artists aren't promoting hearing protection because of contract/industry regulations or because they're just indifferent about it because it's a lifestyle choice they made for themselves so they fear backlash from the general public.
RIGHT.I got a feeling it's more contract/industry regulations. It's bloody criminal how they do not promote about hearing damage and they should advise their fans to wear earplugs at concerts.
I wish more can be done about it.
Me too. I never got the chance to get temporary tinnitus. If I did I would have protected my ears like crazy.RIGHT.
People would still go to concerts, they'd just do so with protection. I wish I was one of those people who had gotten mild tinnitus for like a week that would have scared me into wearing ear plugs.
I'm pretty sure the musician Grimes also had to cancel some of her shows and tours a while ago due to tinnitus and hearing loss concerns.Oh yeah that would me amazing!

I wonder if Elon Musk has considered donating for tinnitus research. He's in a relationship with Grimes.I'm pretty sure the musician Grimes also had to cancel some of her shows and tours a while ago due to tinnitus and hearing loss concerns.
