Surprisingly, the tinnitus after my acoustic trauma has not affected my sleep. My sleep has remained exactly the same. I wonder why?

For a little while today the constant high pitched ringing sounded more like static.
Rough morning, seems like the hyperacusis is more sensitive for a few hours when I wake up.
Does anyone's T sound like a cross between high frequency static and sizzling bacon?
